"Dark! Hey Dark get up! Please get up!" Shadow whisper yelled at the younger sister, while gently shaking her at the same time.
"What do you want Shad?" Dark groaned while slowly opening her tired blue eyes and looking up at the older sibling.
"Nows our chance! They're asleep!" Shadow whispered to avoid waking up the sleeping parents.
"Ok ok I'm up Shad don't get too excited or they'll wake up." Dark calmed the childish older sister while sitting up and rubbing her eyes. The two sisters packed up all their small belongings which included their phones, books, clothes, headphones, some food, water bottles, and what little money they had. They put the stuff in two large backpacks, pulled on jeans, a T-shirt, their sweaters, and their sneakers. After they were dressed they slipped out of their house and into the dark night.

"Hey Dark, its a little quiet. Don't ya think???" Shadow asked, looking around while she felt in her sweater pocket for her pocket knife, and sighed in relief when she felt it.
"Shadow, its night time. What do you expect?" Dark reassured her sister.
"I know but usually we would have heard a dog barking or a car going past. And yet there's nothing. Absolutely nothing. And once again I feel like we're being watched. Don't tell me you don't agree." Shadow stated while looking around, searching for what gave her the uneasy feeling in her stomach.
"Yeah you have a point there Shad." Dark agreed.
The sisters were currently walking around a park by their house and were planning to go into the woods near the park. But, for now they were just walking around the park trying to enjoy the night but failed thanks to the uneasy feelings in their stomach. It was just early enough in the night to make out a figure in the park, which Dark saw and told Shadow about and both agreed that the figure was unusually tall to be human. Both girls heard something coming from near the figure as well, but couldn't agree to what they heard. Shadow thought she heard static, while Dark thought she heard a honking like a clown's nose. They both were contemplating whether they should investigate it to see if they were hallucinating and if it was really a tree or if they should run away from it. Shadow pulled out her pocket knife just in case as they both decided to run away from it, although not knowing why they chose to do that.

After a while of aimlessly walking the streets with not a car in sight, they decided that they should go back to the park before morning came and they should get settled in the woods.
"Hey Dark do you think that figure is gone by now?" Shadow quietly asked.
"Probably" Dark answered back. When they got back to the park, they found that the figure was no longer there.
"Well, you were right Dark." Shadow said to Dark looking around the park, the uneasy feeling returning once they returned to the park.
"Yeah" Dark agreed. They continued across the park towards the woods. They found the entrance and entered the woods searching for a perfect place to stay. After a while of them walking around they found a perfect place not too close to the park, but not too deep into the woods either.
"Well....I guess this is where we live now?" Shadow asked, and Dark nodded in agreement. Shadow pulled out a tent that she grabbed last minute and set it up which took about an hour because Shadow was confused where everything went even with the instructions. But luckily Dark was there to help correct her.

Once they got the tent set up, Dark pulled out two pillows while Shadow pulled out two blankets and they settled in and slept.
