Chapter 17

Shadow was thinking. And that was...different. Dark was trying to play Call of Duty with her. Key word: trying. But Shadow wasn't paying attention at all.
"Shad. Shad. Shadow. SHADOW!!!!" Dark yelled, making Shadow jump and throw the controller up and made it hit the chandelier, that was magically being held by rope and tape. But unfortunately, the controller hit the base of the chandelier hard enough so the huge chandelier came crashing down.
"TAKE COVER!!!" Dark yelled, and both girls went into their animal forms and dove under the couch just as a huge crashing sound was heard. Jeff, Blue, BEN, Masky and Hoodie, and Slender came running (except Slender, he just teleported) downstairs and observed the scene in front of them. The only word said by anyone:
"Wow." Everyone just stared as Shadow and Dark shakily crawled out from under the couch now not in their animal forms and stared at the mess around them.
"What happened here children?" Slender asked. Shadow looked down guiltily, as Masky smirked under his mask.
"Sorry Slender, it was my fault. I was thinking, Dark tried to get my attention, I jumped and the controller went flying into the chandelier and it fell. I'll clean it up, I promise." Shadow was still looking down, not wanting to look up. Slender sighed.
"It's alright child. Just clean it up, and then come up to my office when you're done. I'm glad nobody got hurt." After that was said, Slender teleported away. Shadow sighed, and went to find the broom and dust pan.

One Hour Later (cause no one wants to read about Shadow cleaning)

Shadow finished, and was now trudging up the stairs to Slender's office. 'This is why I'm never going deep in thought ever again.' Shadow thought, while she was walking, and finally arrived at her destination. She sighed and knocked on the door, waiting for an answer. There was a faint sound of shuffling papers, before she was granted permission to enter the room. Shadow opened the door and stepped inside, feeling guilty once again.
"Child, what were you thinking about that made you go deep into thought?" Slender asked, in his usual serious 'voice'. Shadow took a deep breath.
"I was thinking about my relationship with Jeff, and about my ex-boyfriend." Slender stayed silent for a while.
"Why?" Was all that came out.
"I was thinking about how much I love Jeff, and then I just started thinking about my ex-boyfriend, and how both relationships are way different. Honestly, I was mostly thinking about how he ignored me, and how much I just want to kill him. In a way, I just was thinking about a Valentine's day gift for Jeff. And I think that would be the best gift to him. I dont know why." Shadow finished, feeling weird and sad all of a sudden.
"I see. Well you are dismissed. You're not in trouble, just try not to break anymore things please." Shadow nodded and walked out and into her room. She grabbed her knife, money, and her frying pan, before heading out to find her ex-boyfriend.
