Chapter 10

Shadow's POV

I found him!! I FOUND ONII~CHAN MUDDER DUCKERS!!!! I found him roaming the woods somewhere in Athens I think? Along the way I injured my leg a bit but was still gonna continue anyway. I got this far might as well continue right? He had a few injuries, but was good enough to go back home.
"Onii we're almost there. Dark isn't really happy with me at the moment, but I'm planning on making it up to her." I explained, proud that I accomplished half of my mission.
"What do you mean Shadow?" He asked, a hint of curiosity and worry mixed in his voice.
"We have something important we have to do. I'm sorry Onii, but we have to do this important something by ourselves, even if we have to tie you to a bed." I answered. When the mansion came into sight I started running towards it. I busted the door open, grabbed Dark who was luckily right by the door, and started running back outside.
"See ya later Onii! We'll be back!" I yelled quickly looking back towards the mansion seeing a confused Onii standing there. I stopped running, already tired and turned to Dark.
"Hey. I'm sorry I left without you suddenly, but I'm planning on making up for it." I explained, while catching my breath.
"It's okay Shad. You just worried me is all. Next time don't leave without explaining first please." She said, hugging me. I hugged back.
"Trust me, after this I am never gonna leave like that again. I promise." I said, happy she forgave me.
"So, should we go kill Stan?" I asked, seeing her eyes light up and seeing her nod, made me smile.

Still Shadow's POV

All I could see was black, but I heard two voices. Two familiar voices. 'Why do they sound so familiar? Wait...is that..Onii? And Dark? Wait, they left.' I groaned, opening my eyes and staring at the ceiling.
"Fuuuck..my head hurts so bad." I groaned, sitting up and holding my head. I noticed a red rose laying on my lap. 'Please don't tell this came from Offender.' I mentally groaned before inspecting it more and seeing a 'S' carved into the stem. I smiled at it. 'I only know one person that has a name starting with that letter, and nice enough to do that. Sally.' I got up and walked to my room, still holding the rose. I found a empty clean cup that I still had but too lazy to bring back to the kitchen, and filled it with water. I gently placed the rose in the water, before taking a quick shower.

I limped downstairs, hair still wet from my shower and headed to the kitchen. I made myself a sandwich and took some cheesecake before sitting on the couch. Masky walked by and I felt his glare when he saw the piece of cheesecake.
"Before you say anything about this piece of cheesecake, I will tell you this.
1. It was within reach of me, I was starving and I grabbed it. You know about my obsession with cheesecake, yet you still continue to leave it out.
2. I almost died. I deserve it.
3. It's just one piece. You'll survive.
Now go on and leave me be with this piece of heaven."
I explained, taking a bite of it. I smirked when he growled and walked away.
"Hey Shadow." I heard a voice behind me say. I turned around to see the one and only Jeff.
"Hey Jeff." I answered, casually taking another bite of the cheesecake.
"What did Masky say when he saw you eating that?" He pointed at the cheesecake, smirking. I smirked back.
"Oh this? I didn't give him time to yell at me. I just stated why I deserved it, and he glared, growled and walked away." I answered truthfully.
"Damn...and he didn't kill you?" He questioned.
"Trust me, if looks could kill, I'd be 12 feet under" I answered. He looked confused for a second.
"Wait..aren't you usually buried under 6 feet of dirt when you die?"
"My point exactly."
"Oh." He chuckled, walking away.
I smiled, successfully hiding my blush as I shook my head and finished my cheesecake.
