~Next Morning~
Shadow's P.O.V.
I was currently walking through the forest, my backpack slung over one of my shoulders, a red hoodie with the hood up to make an attempt to hide my face, with my knife in the pocket of the hoodie, and a pocket knife in my pants pocket, and its definitely not in the back pocket like most idiots. I was also eating a bit of a s'mores pop tart which was my breakfast. This morning Hoodie woke me up quickly at 2am so I could have a headstart before the others woke up. Before I left the house, Slender asked if I wanted one of his proxies to come with me, I said no because I had to do this alone and didn't want to endanger any lives except for my own. 'God I hope Dark doesn't come looking for me', I thought walking at a faster pace than before. I was currently going over my plan making sure it was foolproof and nothing bad could happen. 'Okay so first I have to get Onii to Dark, then I can deal with the rest.. But where exactly would Onii be? I believe last time we talked, he said something about him being in Tennessee...but he could have moved....I dunno, I guess I should just check Tennessee first then if he's not there, I'll have to think of another plan. But either way, I will find him.' I thought, before nodding to myself and deciding it was good enough for now. 'So I'm off to Tennessee I guess.'
Dark's P.O.V.
I woke up, with a feeling that something is wrong. I got out of my bed, changed into simple jeans and a black t-shirt and slipped a black hoodie on. I brushed my hair and teeth and casually walked downstairs in my socks. I grabbed a chocolate pop tart and sat on the couch, watching BEN play Call of Duty. 'He probably doesn't know I'm here right now' , I thought smirking. I reached over and tapped on his shoulder, making him look at me then jump and scream like a girl. I busted out laughing, rolling onto the floor. He glared at me, making me laugh harder, and making me unable to breath. Once I finally calmed down, I remembered the feeling that I had when I woke up.
"Hey BEN?" I asked. BEN stopped glaring at me, and answered.
"What is it Dark?"
"Do you know where Shadow is? I woke up with a bad feeling, and I'm pretty sure Shadow would be up by now." By just saying that out loud, I realized that I now knew the reason for the bad feeling. By the time I realized, everyone was already awake and having breakfast. Everyone except for Shadow. I bolted up and ran towards Slender's office. 'If anyone would know where she was, it would be Slender.' I thought stopping in front of a door larger than the other's. I knocked quickly then ran in before someone could even answer.
Nobody's POV
Dark burst in Slender's office, both worry and anger clearly showing on her features.
"Where is Shadow?!" She asked showing a hint of worry that was still showing on her features. Slender sighed, before stating two words that made Dark's heart shatter into tiny pieces.
"She left."
Dark got mad, tears pricking her eyes.
"No. No! NO! THAT'S NOT TRUE! YOU'RE LYING! SHE WOULDN'T LEAVE! She wouldn't leave.." Dark said the last part as if to try and convince herself instead. Slender sighed and walked over to Dark while sending a telepathic message to Toby to come and get her. Slender slowly picked her up, ignoring the insults and punches thrown at him and gave her to Toby when he finally came. Toby carefully carried Dark to her room despite her thrashing around and laid her on her bed, sitting next to her. After a while Dark's outburst ended, leaving just her in a ball silently crying, and Toby sitting by her.
Shadow's POV
'Dammit. I feel really selfish right now. I know Dark probably already is awake and most likely already found out about what I'm doing too.'
I sighed at my thoughts, wondering how I could make it up to her.
'I should probably get Onii and then go back to get Dark. That will probably be the best thing to do.' I sighed again, knowing that I would have to do what I was thinking because I knew she deserved revenge too.
'Don't worry Dark. I'll come back for you.'
