We had just got done getting DNA and stuff taken . I walked back to Marcus's room .

" Mommy . " He whispered . I looked up at him and seen he was having trouble breathing .

"Nurse !" I yelled as I screamed down the hallway . A doctor and 2 nurses ran in . I felt tears rush down my face .

" Ma'am you can't be in here . " He spoke .

" What ! " I yelled . " That's my son . " I cried .

" I'm sorry but you can't be in here . " He said as he walked me out of his room . I walked down the hall to see if I can find Ray .

"Ray ." I yelled as I walked up to him .

" What's wrong ?" He asked as I ran into his arms .

" Marcus he's having trouble breathing again . " I cried . I felt his arms wrap around my back in comfort .

"Everything's gonna be alright ." I whispered as I kissed her forehead .

" LaKayla . " The doctor spoke. Kayla broke away from me and turned to face the doctor .

" Yeah ." She said .

" We have placed your son back on the breathing treatment , would you like to see him ? " The doctor asked .

" Yeah . " Kayla smiled . She grabbed my hand and we walked to Marcus's room , once we got to his room we seen him eating some ice cream .

" Mommy , daddy ! " He smiled.

"Hi baby boy ."Kayla smiled as she kissed his cheeks .

" Hey little man ." I said as I kissed his forehead .

" Hey mom ! " Promise laughed as her and Isaiah walked in hand in hand .

" Hey Promise , hey Isaiah. " Kayla smiled .

" Hey Guys . Hey Marcus , how you doing . " He said as he walked over to Marcus and messed in his hair .

"Have they came back with the results ?" Troy asked as he walked in the room . I tensed up and felt Kayla grab my hand .

" Relax . " She whispered . " No they haven't . " She said .

"How's my grand baby . " My mom smiled as she walked in with Mia and Trey .

" Hi grandma !" Marcus cheesed .

" Have you guys got the results ? " She asked as she hugged me . I shook my head no as she sat next to me .

" How was school ? " I asked Mia and Trey .

" Good . " They both said in union .

" Hello everyone . " The doctor said as he walked in . " We'll we got the results and the father of Marcus Daquan Smith is Rayan Smith . " He said .

" Thank you . " I smiled as he walked out . Ray smiled and hugged me tight and I looked over and seen that Troy was gone .

We pulled up to my house and Ray parked . The kids got and went running inside . Marcus was in the hospital for 2 weeks and he has finally been able to come home . Me and Ray got out and he leaned against his car .

" I guess I'll see you tomorrow . " He smiled .

" Wait don't go . Ray I want us to be a family again . You , me and the kids . He smiled and pulled me into a hug . We pulled away and he kissed me passionately . I smiled and we walked into the house .
