[ Rayan ]

" Your still mad ? "

I asked Kayla as she scooted over to the other side of the bed .

" Babe . "

" What the hell do you want . " She mumbled .

" For you to talk to me . "

" There's nothing to talk about , just think about your kids next time . " She spat .

" Look I'm sorry that I didn't get custody of Trey or that I wasn't watching Marcus good enough . "

I scooted over to her and wrapped my arms around her , she turned her body around so that she was facing me .

" Don't let that shit happen again . " She said .

" I won't . "

She smiled and grabbed my face , giving me a soft passionate kiss . She bit my lip as she pulled away .

" I love you . " She smiled .

" I love you too ."

I heard doors being slammed , I got up and walked downstairs seeing Promise who looked drunk. I heard footsteps , I turned around seen Kayla with a confused face .

" Promise what's wrong ? " Kayla asked .

" He cheated on me ! " She cried .

I don't deal with this shit , that's her moms job . I rubbed my eyes and walked into the kitchen .

" Promise you don't need to be drinking . "

" I'm fine . " She said as she walked over to the couch .

" So what's wrong ? "

" It's Isaiah . He keeps on asking me for forgiveness . " She said .

" Have you even talked to him about it ? "

" Not really cause I don't wanna hear about it . " She said .

" Maybe you too should try talking it out ."

" Fine . " She mumbled .

" Yeah now go to bed waking me up and shit . "

I mumbled as I got up . I walked into the kitchen and seen Ray eating a burger . Fat ass , I laughed and went upstairs . I went into Marcus's room and seen him fast asleep , I walked into Mia's room and age was sleep , when I went into Trey's room he was up watching tv . I walked over to his bed and sat down .

" Mom . " Trey said .

Him calling me mom just warms my heart .

" Yeah ? "

" I don't got to go back , do I ? " He asked .

" No . Trey this is your home right here . Now get some rest . "

I said as I kissed his forehead , he hugged me tight then laid down .

" I love you mom . " He said .

" I love you too . "

I smiled and closed his door shut then walked into the bedroom , I laid down and soon fell back asleep .

I woke up with a major headache , I got up and went into the bathroom to get cleaned up . I pulled my hair into a bun then got dressed . I threw on a red v neck and some grey sweats . I slipped on my red converse , grabbed my keys then walked out to my car .

I started up the engine and just sat there , thinking about everything . I pulled out of the driveway and drove to Isaiah's house , I decided that I would let him explain what the hell was going on in his damn mind when he cheated on me . I pulled up into his house and got out . I knocked and on the door and his mom answered .

" Hello Promise . " She smiled .

" Hi . "

" Isaiah's upstairs , he might be sleep . But go ahead . " She said .

I smiled and walked upstairs to his room , I guess he didn't tell his mom about us . I went into his room and walked over to him sleeping , I slapped his head and he jumped up .

" What the hell ! " He yelled .

" Shut up . "

I laughed as I sat on his bed .

" Why'd you wake me up ? " He asked .

" So we can talk , so you can explain what happened that night. "

He rubbed his face then got up .

" How about we go out for lunch and talk about then . " He smiled .

" That's fine , now go get dressed . "

I jumped on his bed and laid on back with my feet kicked up .

" You know I love you , right . " He said .

I sat up and turned around to face him .

" Yeah I know you do . "

" Your not gonna say it back ? " He asked .

" Isaiah right now I don't know if I love you . Can you just go get dressed . "

He nodded then walked into his bathroom . I rubbed my face then got off of his bed . Should I just leave ?
