" Well it says right here she still has full custody of him so she has any right to come get her son , a court date has been set . " Lawyer James explained .

" You never got custody of your son after all these years ! "

" I didn't think it mattered . " Ray said .

I smiled and shook his hand goodbye , I walked out to the car .

" Babe -

" How could you not get custody of your own son ! Now Amber has him , god knows what's going on over there!"

I started up the engine and pulled out of the courthouse parking lot .

" Mommy can we go to Mc.Donald's." Marcus asked from the backseat .

" Yeah . You and Mia can go play too . "

" Yay ! " Marcus cheesed .

I smiled and drove to Mc.Donald's , I parked in parking space then we headed inside .

" Why are we here ? "

" Because I need to handle some business , I'll be back . " My mom said.

This is some bullshit . I unlocked my phone and called Promise .

" Hey sis . "

" Hey Trey ! " Promise spoke .

" What y'all doing ? "

" At Mc.Donald's for Mia & Marcus . " She laughed .

" Let me speak to them . "

" Alright . " She said .

" Trey ! " Mia yelled .

" Hey Mia . Are you being good . "

" Yeah , when are you coming home ? " She asked .

" Soon . Let me talk to Marcus . "

I ended up speaking to the whole family and then I told them I had to go since my mom was walking out after 2 hours later , what the hell was she doing in there .

" What took you so long ? "

" I had to handle some things . " She said .

She started up the engine and drove off .

" Fine meet me up at Wendy's cause I'm hungry . " - Me

I grabbed my car keys and drove to Wendy's . I order me some fries and burger with a small frosty then sat down .

" Hey . " Isaiah said .

I looked up and waved since I had food in my mouth . He chuckled then sat in front of me taking a French fry . I frowned and he laughed .

" So what do you want to talk about ? "

" Promise I still love you . " He said .

I laughed . " Bullshit , if you loved me you would of never cheated . "

" Promise that was huge mistake , I wasn't thinking . Please just give me a second chance ." He begged .

" I don't know , I need time . "

" I understand . " He said .

I smiled and got up to throw away my food , I walked back over to him and kissed his cheek lightly .

" See you around . "

I smiled and walked out to my car , I hooked it up to my car and called Elena .

" Hey girl ! " She yelled threw the phone .

" Hey so I just got done seeing Isaiah . "

" What happened ? " She asked .

" He wants a second chance . " I paused . " I said I need time , you know to think it through . "

" You need to find out what happened that night and why he did it . " Elena said .

" Yeah I know . After three years well Friday will be three years . "

" Wow . " She mumbled .

" What ? "

" Oh sorry I was reading how much work I'll be doing . " She said .

" Aw well I call you later . "

" Alright . Love ya . " She said .

I said bye then walked inside the house and went upstairs . It's so quiet without Trey .
