Chapter 22

| Promise |

" They said that she's gonna be in the hospital for some weeks until they see what's wrong with her . "

I explained to my mom , as she followed me to Isaiah's moms room .

" Hey babe . "

I said as I walked up to Isaiah . He just hugged me tight and began to cry a little , I rubbed his back .

" She's gonna be alright , baby I promise . "

I whispered , he lifted his head up and kissed my forehead . I smiled and he walked over to his moms bed , he hugged and kissed her goodbye . We walked out of her room and went into the lobby .

" Do you want to come over tonight ? "

" Yeah . I'll drive home to go get some clothes then I'll come over your house."

He said .

" Ok . "

I smiled and he kissed me softly , I followed my mom out to her car and she began to drive home , luckily Isaiah had picked me up today instead of me driving over his house . Once we arrived home I walked up to my room and got my clothes out , I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower .

Today was just awful for Isaiah , him and his mom was so close and now she's in the hospital I just hope she's ok . I washed my hair back to its natural curly , I got out and walked into my room with the towel rapped around me . I looked up and seen Isaiah sitting on my desk , I smiled sightly and walked over to him , I leaned down and kissed him softly but passionately .

" I love you . "

I smiled as he pulled away .

" I love you too . " He whispered .

I pecked his lips once more then went to change into my pajamas . I turned off the light and laid down with Isaiah . He wrapped his arms around me & I snuggled into his chest , soon falling off to sleep .

I woke up to someone patting my face , I opened my eyes and seen Marcus smiling in my face . I smiled and kissed his cheek .

" Hey baby boy. "

" Hi mommy . " He smiled .

He climbed up on the bed and laid next to me .

" Where's daddy ? "

" Right here . " Ray smiled .

He walked in with IHOP and it smelled wonderful , I smiled and sat up . He handed me my food then kissed my forehead .

" No kiss mommy ! " Marcus shouted .

I busted out laughing as Ray began to tickle him . Wow .

I woke up in Isaiah's arms , I wiped my eyes and looked up at Isaiah . I smiled and pecked his lips softly , he opened his eyes and smiled at me , I kissed his lips again and he pulled me on to him .

" Isaiah . "

I laughed as I moved my hair out of my face . I leaned down and kissed him , he licked my bottom lip asking for entrance , I parted my mouth and we began to have a tongue war . I really do love Isaiah more then he could imagine .

" Promise . " My mom said as she opened the door . " Promise -

I broke away from the kiss and faced my mom .

" Hm . " She said.

" Hey mom . "

I laughed , I moved off of Isaiah and stood up .

" Yes mom ? "

" Kenneth is here to talk to you about signing you . " She said .

" Alright I'll be done in a sec . "

I smiled as she left . I walked over to my closet and grabbed a outfit . [ Leggings W/ Tupac Shirt & Some White Converse ] . Looked good enough , I slipped it on and waited for Isaiah . I didn't really tell him anything about it so he was a bit confused about what was going on .

We reached downstairs and seen Kenneth talking to my dad .

" Hello Promise . " He smiled .

" Hey Kenneth . "

Me and Isaiah sat next to my mom .

" So I've talked to some of the people at the studio and they would love to have you . " He explained .

" That's great . "

" Yes very . They would like to meet up with you Friday at noon . If the boss wants you then so be it , we will get you started right away , I mean you have amazing talent , I bet you get that from your dad . " He laughed .

I smiled . " Probably . "

" Well I'll see you then . It was nice seeing you again . " Kenneth said.

He said goodbye then left out the door .

I walked up to my room and seen Isaiah watching tv .

" Are you happy for me ? "

I said as I shut the door .

" Yeah I'm happy for you . Why wouldn't I be . " He questioned .

" I don't know . "

He walked up to me and kissed my forehead .

" I'm happy for you & I mean it . " He smiled .

I smiled and kissed his cheek . I walked over to the bed and we cuddled up together watching Love & Basketball .

Sorry it took me so long to update ! I celebrated my birthday Saturday , Sunday and Monday . Lol . I finally turned 16 ! 😏
