Her Pride

The Beast

"I'm here to explain" I say as we walk into the room. Fallon looks around at all the books that cover the walls in awe.

"I do hope so" my Alpha says.

"Well first off, this is Fallon" I say motioning to Fallon beside me. "she's a werewolf and the person I've been going to see" I sit on the couch in the corner and Fallon sits awkwardly beside me.

"Hello Alpha" Fallon says.

"Hello Fallon, what brings you to our neck of the woods?" she asks Fallon.

"Well I like seeing Ember and we are actually on our territory not yours" she says nervously.

"You went off the territory?" the Alpha yells at me.

"I had no idea until now" I say raising my hands in the air like she has a gun.

"Well why have you two been meeting?" she asks us with a little more anger in her voice then before.

"Um, well, we are um, mates" Fallon says quietly. The Alpha does nothing, she just sits there starring at us for a moment before a glint of realization sparkles in her grey-blue eyes.

"Now things are falling into place. So you two are mates which is why you two are always together after school and the reason Ember continually slips into the forest" she says as she pulls the thoughts together herself.

"Now that that's out of the way what about that thing outside?" Fallon says and motions her thumb outside.

"That's a little more difficult" I say as I shuffle in my seat.

"I have an idea at what that could be" the Alpha says softly as she pushes up her silver rimmed glasses. She goes to speak but a loud bang has us all turning out attention towards the door. The actual door is against the wall and a young sweat covered male is standing in it's place looking very tired and worried.

"It's awake and changed to human, it's demanding to speak with Ember" he says quickly through his heavy panting.

"We will head there now" the Alpha says as she motions us out the door "thank you Carl, you don't have to come back with us" she says as we start to walk down the hall. Carl looks slightly relieved as he turns down another corridor away from us as we walk down the stairs. The Alpha leads us through the back kitchen and out the door.

We walk into the forest and into a clearing little ways away from the main house. Everyone knows not to play around here because of things we house inside of the underground dungeon.

The Alpha walks past both guards and opens the door. We all walk down the stairs into the darkness of the dungeon.

"Alpha" a few of the guards address as we pass. I feel Fallon's small hands around my arm.

"What happened?" she asks them as we reach the far end of the long row of cells. I know not to look inside them but Fallon must have because she looks frightened.

"The thing changed into human form and demanded to see Ember as it freaked out" one of the guards say.

"Why me?" I ask to no one. I hear a rattling behind the metal door and then a deep growl.

"You are chosen" the thing calls from behind the metal. I feel fear course through me at the sound of it's deep voice.

"Let us in" The Alpha says and both the guards nod. They pull open the heavy metal door after unlocking a few large locks. The door slides open to reveal a finely toned naked back sitting on the floor. The thing lifts it's head and slowly stands. He is completely naked and I keep my eyes up towards his face. He turns around and I began to struggle to keep my eyes up instead of checking out his gorgeously toned and tanned body. He only looks to be about seventeen or eighteen but he still looks wise.
