Netflix and Cuddles // J.D

This was it. Today was the day where Josh and I got to hang out. Better yet, we got to hang out, watch Netflix, eat junk food and wear onesies. What could top that!?

I'm currently running around like a maniac trying to get everything together before he comes home. You think I play when it comes to this?

"Okay, the food and drinks are set out, Netflix is all set up, now what?" I ask out loud. "What else Gizmo?" I ask Josh and I's cat as he walks by. He meows in response and takes off. I laugh to myself, cats sure are interesting creatures.

"Onesies!" I say outloud. "I almost forgot!" With this, I turn around and start sprinting up the stairs and almost trip. Once i'm up the stairs, I just stop. "Okay, calm down Y/N. Slow your roll. You have everything else set up.. just breathe."

I take a deep breath and walk towards our bedroom. I walk over to the closet and grab the onesies. I admire them for a second and smile to myself. Josh is going to love this.

I grab the onesies and walk down the stairs. Once i'm down them, I walk over to the couch and set them down. I look around the room and smile... i'm already so excited. I start to debate if I should put mine on when I hear a car door shut.

I grin while positioning the onesies perfectly on the couch. I take care of last minute things and pretend to look busy. A few seconds later I hear the key turning and door opening. "Hey!" Josh exclaims and rushes over to me.

I turn around and start beaming. We instantly collide and start embracing like we haven't seen each other in years.. even though it's only been a few hours.

"Hey Josh! How was practice?" I ask. "Really great, we've been working on some new songs. I think you'll really like them." He replies.

"Ooh, when can I hear these new songs?" I ask, suddenly curious. He pulls away and his face lights up. "Tomorrow." He answers with a big smile. My eyes go wide and I can't stop smiling. "Really!?" I ask, now excited for the events tomorrow.

"Yeah! A few of the guys will be there, and your best friend Jenna will be there." He says with a wink. I chuckle and playfully punch his chest. He shakes his head and grins, taking in the surroundings of the living room.

"You did this?" He asks, amazed. I nod, "Only the best for you, Dun." I reply. "Oh my god, what did I do to deserve you." He says with a big smile and hugs me. I hug back then pull away. "What?" He asks, genuinely offended.

I simply smile and say, "Well, it's movie night, isn't it? You know what that means." He softens up and smiles. "Touche." He says and looks at the couch. His face lights up. "You got the onesies!" He yells.

I nod and grin. "You bet I did." He looks at me again with a childish grin and runs to the couch to grab his. He puts it on immediately and smiles bigger than i've seen in a while.

I giggle at his childish ways and walk over to the couch to grab mine. "It fits beautifully! I can't belive you finally got it!" He exclaims. I put mine on and look at him. "Does it look good?" I ask, looking down.

He turns around and, even though I thought his smile couldn't possibly get bigger.. it did. He looks me up and down, the biggest smile I had ever seen graced his face. "You look so cute!!" He exclaims and runs over to me.

I squeal as he picks me up and spins me around. He giggles and gently sets me down. I blush and let my head fall on his shoulder. He chuckles and wraps his arms around me.

"Mmm, you're so cute." He mumbles into my hair. I smile and just melt into his arms. After a few moments I pull back and grab his hand. I guide him to the couch and we sit down.

I grab the remote and scroll to the previously picked movie. "You ready?" I ask. "Not yet." He answers. I'm confused until I notice he puts his arm around me and pulls me close. "Now i'm ready." He says with a broad smile.

I chuckle at him and nod. I press play, and we cuddle up to watch Zootopia.
