*SLOW UPDATES*
Pretty self explanatory. Requests are open, I don't write smut. I definitely will put warnings for the chapters that include touchy subjects. That's about it, enjoy!
"And there's the last of the ingredients." I say triumphantly, setting down the sugar. Josh looks up from his phone with a smile and shoves it in his pocket. He walks over and puts his arm around me.
"Well. We've never baked before. So, this could either end beautifully or tragically, and i'm cool with either." He says honestly. I laugh at his remark and playfully hit his chest.
"What? I'm being honest." He replies. I chuckle and lean my head on his shoulder. "That's what I like about you, Dun." I reply. He kisses my head and I don't even try to hide my smile.
"I love you." He says, and I can hear his smile. "I love you too." I say back, genuine happiness in both of our voices. "Well.. do you wanna start?" He asks after a few moments. "Definitely." I say with a big smile.
He removes his arm from my shoulder and goes over to the printed out recipe on the table. He picks it up and skims through it to find the part that we need. I walk over to the opposite side of the table and put both of my hands on it for support.
"Okay.. so.." He starts, scratching the back of his neck. "Preheat the oven to 350°." He says, looking from me to the oven. "Oops." I reply, walking over to the unprepared stove. I quickly did as told and turned around to face a smiling Josh.
I smile too, watching as his gaze returned to the paper. "Well, while we wait.. I guess we can do the other stuff." He says, looking through the paper. "Definitely." I reply. "Okay," He responds, "Well, in that case, line the cupcake pan with paper liners. Then set it off to the side."
I nod and follow his instructions, smiling when I hear him giggle. "What?" I ask, looking up for a second, then continue filling the tiny pans. "You're using the ones I got. I thought you were joking when you said you were gonna use them."
I shake my head and smirk. "I never joke when it comes to cupcake liners."

"I never should've doubted you." He said through giggles as he leaned over and kissed my forehead. I chuckle and wait for him to continue the instructions.
"Okay, okay." he said, coming down from his giggle fit. "Next, you need to put the sugar, flours, salt, and baking powder in the bowl of the stand mixer." "Wow look at you, sounding all professional and stuff." I say, gathering all the ingredients previously listed.
"Yeah, absolutely, after I come down from a giggle fit." He replies sarcastically. I turn to him and smile, "that's what makes it even better." He chuckles and his gaze focuses back on the paper. "Sorry- I was a bit distracted. And maybe a bit distracting." I say, starting to add all of the ingredients into the blue bowl.
"No problem. I was just as much to blame." He responds, and I can just hear his smile. I giggle and shake my head at him, unable to fathom how one human could be so adorable. "What's next?" I ask, craning my neck to see what's on the paper.
