Chapter 1

        I moved to L.A. when I was 20. I applied to be an assistant at an office building and had gotten the job, I entered the office and saw the guys from Battle Universe. Joey, Matthias, Conner, Bobby, Mike, Kevin, Bryan, Gunner, and Paul. I have always been a fan of Team Edge and their billions of channels, and I always have thought Gunner was hot, but I definitely don't have a crush on him.
        "Hi, I'm (Y/N)! Joey's new assistant." Gunner smiled when I said that, "I know you guys from Battle Universe."
     "Hi, (Y/N)." Gunner smiled, he is sooo much hotter in person.
      "Hi, I'm-" I cut him off.
"Joey, or J-Fred! Which one should I call you?" I kinda regret saying that now, but it's too late.
"I'm assuming you're a fan." I chuckled, and shook my head yes. "You can call me by any name you want to. Can you go buy some strange foods. Team Edge is doing another food slap challenge."
"Ok." I was thinking of the some different things I could get, spam, jello, sushi, and bacon.
"I'll come along!" I turned and saw Gunner looking at me. I smiled and we walked outside to his car. "I'll drive!"
"That's fine with me." As we both smiled I felt like we were meant for each other, but I knew it would never happen.
       "How are you?" Gunner said as we were getting into his car.
        "This is probably the best day of my life, being honest, so I'm doing great!" I immediately started thinking of millions of better answers to that question. "How are you?"
          "I'm good." It was silent for what had seemed like forever until Gunner said "So tell me something about yourself, do you have any siblings?"
          I was hoping no one would ask."A brother, but he passed away when I was five. Along with my parents" I could feel the tension between us growing.
          "I'm sorry to hear that." It went silent again.
