Chapter 4

           "We should have you on the next episode of The Pop Off to introduce you to everyone." Patrick said as Matthias walked into the room.
          "I'd love to." Matthias has entered our 'circle' "Hey Matt...thias?" Oh God, what did I just say! "Do I call you Matt or Matthias?" There goes my good first impression.
            "You can call me Matt. (Y/N), right?" I nodded my head "You seem nervous. We don't bite, well, most of us" he looked at Tanner as he said that.
           "Hey! I can't help that I'm a feisty lil pup!" We all chuckled, but I think we all cringed too. "So (Y/N), you probably want to see the rest of the office, and maybe the people." I nodded my head. "Looks like your chaperone has left you. I'll take you!" Tanner and I walked out by his and Gunner's office, with no conversation. But I noticed that anytime I looked at him, he was looking at me.
             We stopped by the door to the office "(Y/N), I have to tell you..." he stopped mid sentence and looked around. "I...um...I...I like you. Like, like like you. Like have a crush on you." I kinda chuckled.
               "I have mixed feelings about this." I looked at the ground, kinda ashamed. A few strands of hair fell over my face, Tanner tucked them behind my ear. He gently grabbed my chin and lifted it. "I've always had a crush on Gunner...but I've also had a slight crush on you." I felt like I was gonna cry. He gave me a reassuring smile.
                "Let's go meet some people, we can finish this conversation later." We went up to the GG room. Paul and Connor were in there playing something.
             "OOOH! TANNER GOT A GIRLFRIEND!!!" Connor sang loudly. Tanner and I looked at each other and laughed.
             "This is the new employee, (Y/N). She's Joey's assistant, not my nonexistent girlfriend." I walked over to Connor to see that he was playing Fortnite, he was in a battle, so I grabbed his mouse so he couldn't move it and caused him to die. I maniacally laughed.
            "Connor, you stink at this!" Paul yelled. Tanner walked over to me and grabbed my hand. I'm blushing aren't I? "I ship it!" Paul had clearly noticed.
            "You two should totally date!" Connor sounded very excited. Tanner and I looked at each other and I shrugged.
            "(Y/N) wanna go out with me?" It got awkward and I felt a little uncomfortable.
            "Why not!" We both smiled as Tanner pulled me into a hug.
            "Connor! I think we're Cupids!" We all chuckled.
"I love you already." Tanner whispered into my ear. I smiled and kissed his cheek.
I whispered back "I love you too."
