"Guys!" Dallon exclaimed when he suddenly made himself appear in front of Mark, who was running his last track. The poor man didn't see Dallon in time and ran into the demon, causing them to crash onto the ground. The two tumbled around and came to a stop, 5 feet away.
"Ow," Mark groaned. He opened his eyes and saw that it was Dallon he'd ran into. "What the hell, Dallon?!" He groaned again, rubbing his head.
Dallon didn't say anything. He crawled off of the Ezekai, rubbing his and as he felt a headache coming up.
Dan, Jack, and Angelique came running towards them.
"What's going on?" Jack asked while he helped Mark up to his feet. Dan helped Dallon. Angelique kept her space and stayed behind, crossing her arms while she cocked her head to the side, slightly. "You look like you've seen a ghost, what happened? Where's Brendon?" She asked without an emotion showing.
"More like a holy spirit," Dallon muttered under his breath. Then, they all heard a familiar scream. Brendon.
Meanwhile they heard the screams of the devil, Dallon began to scream aswell. He held his head, yelling, groaning, and hissing in agony. He fell to his knees. Angelique's eyes grew wide as she realised something she should've seen sooner. Dallon and Brendon are sired to each other, but without knowing it themselves.
She and Galadriel had the same thing, only in a different way. They could communicate with each other by thoughts. Even read each other's minds. Dallon feels what Brendon's feeling. Something must have turned it on... but who or what.
Angelique looked at the other three supernaturals. "Go, find Brendon!" She commanded. "I'll stay here with Dallon," She added, kneeling down besides the demon.
"But-" Jack wanted to argue, but was cut off by Angelique saying: "Go. Search. For Brendon!" The three men did what Angelique asked and took off, each a different direction.
Angelique watched the poor demon being in pain, she had no clue what she could do.
Dallon kept howling and mumbling something inaudible, as he was talking to someone. His demon eyes were showing, being completely black and a bit frightening. Angelique gulped. It reminded her of the horrible time she'd spent at the Ezekai's layout.
Dallon clenched his teeth as he felt the pain fade away. He didn't hesitate and stood up as soon the feeling of pure agony was completely gone. Angelique got startled of the demon's sudden movements, then, mirrored his actions.
Angelique expected the demon to give her an explanation of what the hell was going on, but Dallon did not say a word about it, to her disappointment. So she had to take actions herself.
"What the-" She got cut off by Dallon saying: "I don't know."
"I don't know," the demon repeated, now looking puzzled. "I suddenly heard Brendon screaming, damn, it felt so real... as if he was right besides me."
"What did you hear through the screams, what did he say?" Angelique questioned while they were making she way to the direction Dallon walked to. Dallon shrugged, no emotion showing. "All I know is that God's being a dick and hurt my Bre- boss," Dallon said with a blush coating his cheeks.
Boss?, Angelique thought, yeah right.
"Come," Dallon said, grabbing Angelique's wrist. Before the girl could protest, she felt herself becoming dizzy. She clenched her eyes shut and wished it to be over. Luckily, as quick it started, as quick it ended. But, the feeling stayed, causing Angelique to throw up.
"Sorry, forgot humans can have a nasty reaction to teleportation," Dallon said with grimace. "Ew," He added.
Angelique gave Dallon a glare, but the unholy creature had his attention focused on something else. A brand burned into the grass ground. The demon recognised the marks. It was the brand of a portal to heaven.
