Dan's pov:I ran outside. I knew I was too late, Phil was long gone. "Shit" I said. I tried to sniff his scent but I couldn't smell it someone or something was blocking it. I was making my way down town, fast. I had had to find a phone. The kind where you can't find who called with it.
After what felt like forever I finally found a phone. I had to call my connections, Phil may find out... Or worse 'they' will find out where we he is. The phone only rang once when a kind voice with, I think it's a Irish accent, answered. "Hello, Bob's Butchery, this is Sean McLoughling speaking." "The lone wolf cries to the pale full moon." There was a silence at the other side of the phone. I was considering that I had dialed the wrong number when he heard the same voice again. "Well hello Daniel. I will send you to the special section." I thanked him and said goodbye. Before I knew it he had hung up on me and the phone booth I was standing in went down, under the ground. (I never thought I would stand here again) thought I by myself (I never prepared myself for what could happen, I didn't want to). My thoughts were cut off by the elevator that abruptly stopped. I took a deep breath, before opening the door. I stepped into a room full of people that were making phone calls. The scent in the room was overloaded with different kinds of smells.
I walked towards the information desk. "Hello sir, welcome to the GSHD I.D. please." I ignored the question and asked for Louise Pentland (the headmaster of the GSHD, luckily a good friend of mine). The person behind the desk chuckled annoyed and asked again for my I.D. I sighed in response blinked with my eyes revealing my dark yellow eyes. The lady behind the desk flinched and beckoned me to follow her. We walked down the halls, we turned left, then right, and then left again. (Funny how nothing had changed. Brings back the old memories). I really did not want to think about the past, not right now... I need to find Phil. If not, we will all be in great danger.
When we stopped in front of a gigantic door covered with locks. She looked at me to make sure I wanted to go in. As I nodded she pulled out her hand and placed it on the scanner. The door opened and revealed a hallway. I looked at the lady and she pointed at the the door at the end of the darkish hallway "that's her office." Said she. "I know." I responded. She walked away and left me alone in front of the dark hallway that led to the office of my old partner. I walked towards the office's door and knocked three times. "Who's there?" A female voice answered. "Just a old hunting friend." I responded back. The door opened and there she was
Louise.
"Daniel James Howell." She said smiling at me. I smiled back while she gave me the sign to come in. "I never thought to see you here back again." She continued. I know that she knows that this is bad news. "Please take a seat." I accepted her offer by taking the seat that stood across her desk. "How's Phillip?" She began. I sat there in silence not knowing what to say. "I... I.... I lost him." I couldn't speak probably. Louise's look was what I expected to be: too angry to show any emotions. "What did you just say?" She said with a lot of bottled up anger. "Phil and I had a fight about the toilet seat." I tried to lie the only thing I wanted from Louise was her help, bit sadly although predictable.. She didn't buy it. "The truth or else." She said to me with a voice that sent shiffers down my spine. "I wanted to tell him. I had it with the lies about what that noise what that came from my room." Louise looked disappointed. "I just had the feeling that he would understand but.." I couldn't continue. "We're running out of time." I stoot up and walked to the door. "Oh Dan, go to your old pack and ask help. I don't even understand how you manage to survive so long without them. You need them you're a werewolf... it's in your veins." I sighted knowing it's true (I could barely survive without leading my pack. My wolf side began to be frustrated and was going mad.) I snapped out of my thought and walked further towards the door. Before opening it, Louise began to speak again: "I will send Sean to go with you... Just to check, okay?" I turned around and nodded in agreement and closed the door.
I walked the same path back and saw a man with brown hair that had a green streak that he dyed in his hair. You could clearly see that he worked here, because he wore a typical assassin outfit. He saw me and greeted me with a smile. "You must be Sean." I said. "Jup that's me and you're Dan. I heard a lot about you, you know how you captured that evil son of a bit... Ehhrg I mean Phil." He said with dorky smile. "Let's go" I said "we got work to do." He nodded as we walked towards the elevator. (Don't worry Phil, I'm coming for you).
