"What the hell did you do to her Brendon?!" Angelique screamed in pure fury.

After Jack drugged Galadriel, they laid her on the couch and waited. Silently until...

"How was he supposed to know?!" Dallon yelled back, standing in a defending pose.

"Dallon-" Brendon tried to calm his friend down, but failed. He was cut off by Angelique.

"Well he's the one who did the bloody spell!" Angelique spatted with a glare. "Listen here you brat! You little girlfriend is alive again, right? You should thank him God dammit!" Dallon clenched his fist tight. (Nobody talks about Brendon like that!) He thought.

Brendon sighed (it's hopeless, they aren't listening. Where are Dan, PJ, and Chris when you need them?)

"You take that back! How would you react when your loved one doesn't remember you anymore?!" Jack chimed in.

"Oh I'm sorry, why do you bother, Jack? You left your loved one behind with the Ezekai!" Dallon yelled at Jack.

You could definitely see how much effort Jack made in trying to keep himself calm. He clenched his jaw and glared at Dallon with pure despise.

Brendon's head began to pound like crazy (damn, could they shut up already). He closed his eyes, trying to keep his sanity.) He massaged his temples in frustration.

The three of them all yelled at each other.

Suddenly, Brendon snapped.

"Would you all just shut up already!" Brendon raised his voice, regretting his acts immediately. He felt the anger boiling up inside him already.

The three persons all looked at him in shock.

Brendon sighed in relief (silence, finally. He felt his anger cease slowly.)

"I'm sorry sir." Dallon was the one who first broke the sweet silence. He looked at the ground in shame. "I'm sorry, Jack. I shouldn't have said that." Dallon muttered silently. "Same for Angelique" he continued, not bothering to look up.

Jack posture became slight less tense, he breathed in deeply. He let out a long, tired sight. But he remained silent.

Angelique on the other hand.

"I owe you a apology too, Dallon." She turned her gaze to Brendon. "And to you too." This caught Brendon off guard. He was too busy focusing on finding his composure, that he didn't heard what Angelique a said.

"You did the best you could, y-you couldn't know this would happen or what's up with her memory loss." Angelique spoke silently.

"Oh" was the only thing that Brendon could respond.

"Thank you, but I think you're wrong about the last part." Brendon said carefully. He didn't want the woman to get angry at him again.

On the contrary, she looked at him with wide eyes. Brendon noticed little sparks of hope in them.

"Well?!" Angelique signed him to explain.

"Galadriel- Gale, she um..." Brendon rubbed one of his hands against the back of his head, regretting it immediately after, because it still hurts like hell. "She. How am I going to tell this."

Brendon took a deep breath. He had no idea to explain this. He walked past Dallon and plopped down on the couch, he's exhausted. (Is this a common feeling that human have deal with, yikes.) Brendon thinks.

"Okay well Gale is an angel. I've already told you that. In some cases, when an angel is dead or dying, their mind can reset itself." Brendon tried his best to explain it as best he can, but still, Jack and Angelique stare at him in total confusion.

Brendon rolled with his eyes in annoyance, he thought he explained well enough. Apparently not.

"All angels have an alter ego-like thing. When they're sent down to earth to protect people, they use their 'alter ego'."

"So, like a secret identity?" Jack said, trying his best to understand what Brendon just said.

Brendon nodded slightly. "Yea, you can see it that way."

"But I've never noticed her 'secret identity' that you're referring to." Angelique crossed her arms and squinted her eyes. A couple days ago, she didn't even knew that angels really exist.

"I don't know." Brendon shrugged. "The only thing I know is that, even in the alter ego state, angels will never ever intend to hurt you." Brendon said. "But Caedis messed with Gale pretty bad, so I'm not sure if it counts the same with Gale." Brendon said with a troubled look.

"Well she hurt me" Jack said "with some weird spell a couple days ago." Jack's gaze went to Angelique "But she never hurt you, Ann." Jack eyes widened in realization.

"That's because Galadriel was originally assigned to protect Angelique." Brendon sighed "wasn't that that obvious?" Brendon raised a brow.

This took Angelique aback. (Gale? Her own guardian angel? What the hell? Was their relationship not real, was it just to be close to her?)

Angelique wanted to change the subject a little bit

"Is she ever going to snap out of this" she moved er hands, pointing out this situation "this whole 'alter ego' thing?"

Brendon looked at her with a little bit of sadness in his facial features. (Never thought the devil could feel that emotion.) Angelique thought.

"I'm not sure, most angels only snap out of that when their person is in danger."

Angelique wrinkled her nose in despise. She didn't like how Brendon referred her as Galadriel's person, like she was her pet.

"So she'll come back eventually?" Jack chimed in again.

"Well only if she thinks that Angelique is in great danger." Brendon answered. "Like I just said."

Jack rolled his eyes, Brendon could be very annoying some times.

"Then we'll threaten her." Dallon said while looking at Angelique.

Jack tensed up again and stood I'm a defense-like posture.

"Calm your tits, Jack. I don't mean it like that! Galadriel must only think that Angelique is in danger." Dallon raised his hands in a defensive matter.

"Hmm, yes that could work! Maybe, if it's true what Brendon said." Angelique said.

They all looked at each other, happy that they have a plan. Now they only need to inform Dan, PJ, and Chris.
