Jack just came out of Angelique her room, the poor girl was exhausted. It looked like if every single drip of happiness and joy is sucked out of her. (The universe is a bitch.) The irish man thought.

He still had some questions about what the hell just happened today. Jack didn't know about Brendon's second form, he only knew that it's not good if Brendon snaps. He was making his way down the hallway, when he accidentally bumped into Dallon. While the man almost had a heart attack, the tall demon showed no emotion.

"Jack." Dallon said in monotone, the demon didn't even care to look at the shorter man. "Dallon." Jack responded with the same amount of emotion. Dallon raised a brow, he's not used to humans talking like that. The devil's right hand turned around and started to make his way to the kitchen. After a transformation, it's normal for Brendon to feel tired or hungry, which is both in this case. Normally, it would only be tired, but now he's on earth it's different.

"Wait!" Dallon heard from behind his back, he spun around again to see Jack running towards him. Dallon heaved a sigh, "What Jack? I'm in a hurry." Jack stopped right in front of him, ignoring the demon's attitude. "How's Brendon holding up?"

"Well, his whole body hurts, but that's normal after-" "His transformation? Dallon, why the fuck didn't you tell that that," Jack pointed to the hole in the kitchen wall, "Is the same person as that!" He now pointed to Dallon's room. "So why the hell didn't you tell me that that could happen, before you left me alone with him?!" Jack yelled, losing his temper a bit.

"Shh! I don't want him to hear you." Dallon harshly whispered. Jack placed his hands on his hips, "Then explain, or I'll scream the whole place awake."

The tall man heaved a frustrated sigh, "Okay okay, I will explain. Could we do that in the living room?" Jack nodded, he was satisfied that he was getting answers.

Jack sat on the couch, waiting for Dallon to come back from checking on Brendon. After a couple more minutes, the demon came back. Jack tapped onto the couch, beckoning to Dallon to sit down beside him. Dallon listened and said down, not facing his green haired friend.

"So-" Jack said.

"So." Dallon said.

"Why didn't you tell me, tell us all about Brendon?" Jack asked, guiding Dallon towards his biggest question, who is Samuel.

Dallon took a moment to answer, taking a deep breath and then he spilled. "Brendon is ashamed of it, it reminds him of his biggest mistake he made." The demon looked at his lap, having it difficult to talk about this topic.

Jack remained silent, but Dallon felt him urge to go on with the story. "Brendon made the same mistake Ceadis made, or is still proceeding to make."

"What kind of mistake?"

The demon hesitated for a moment, he knows what happened. The problem is that he doesn't know how he knows. Brendon never told him, he just knows. Like it's a fresh memory in his mind.

"Long before the time of Lucifer, That's Brendon. There was Samuel, the bringer of light. And of course, an angel. God loved him, Samuel was his favourite, same was for Galadriel. But then, God made the humans. Your species needed protection, what was fine at first. But after time, Samuel questioned why God loved the humans so much. All they did was slaughter each other without any mercy. Samuel confronted his father with that, but God thought of it as rebellion.  So God lowered his rank, taking Samuel's light. That had big consequences, one was that Samuel lost all his angel conscious. He grew more hate each day, to his father but also the humans. One day, just before Christ if I'm not mistaken, he made his first demon. Samuel made the human not vulnerable to other humans. thinking his father would be proud, he told him. Unfortunately, his father got furious of the that Samuel messed with one of his humans. As punishment, Samuel got banished to a place God built just for the demons: hell. Now that it's a permanently a species, they needed a place to be kept in. Hell first was a place filled with torture and punishment and Samuel was the one who needed to torture. But God wasn't done with Samuel. Samuel fell to hell, and just as he landed, his body changed into something like God saw him: a monster."

Jack was silent, he didn't know how to answer. This was a lot to take in.

"Who-who was the first turned demon?" He eventually dared to ask. Jack noticed how pained Dallon's expression looked. "I don't know." The demon softly said.

Jack thought it would be best to just drop that question, I looked like it hurts Dallon to think about that. "When decided Brendon to change his name? Why didn't he stick with Samuel or Lucifer?"

"Those names were both given by his father, God. Brendon doesn't want to be remembered about that part of his life."

Jack nodded in understanding, Brendon's past is rough and his father handled without mercy. But Brendon did break a rule, right?

"What about Galadriel, didn't she remind him of his past? Why doesn't he hate her?" The irish man asked out of curiosity. "I don't know, maybe because they were the first two angels? They practically grew up together, they were close before the other angels were made."

"Angelique is wrong." Jack blurted out.

Dallon was taken off guard by the thing the other man said, "What? Wrong about what?"

"Wrong about chaining down Brendon into the basement. He's as dangerous as Dan, and Dan is allowed to roam free." That reminded Jack of Mark. He quickly stood up and excused himself, leaving Dallon behind, alone and confused.

Dallon raised his brow when the tamed Ezekai stood up, startling the demon at first.

After Jack left, Dallon buried his head into his hands. The tall man wanted this to be over already. He and Brendon needed to leave earth quick.

God made a terrible monster of Brendon, so the people on earth are in danger while the devil is still here. And not in hell.
