Mika's POV

After almost 40 minutes of car ride we finally arrived at the coconut palace where my office is.

Vic : " please stay for a moment, ma'am "

She turned her face to me when she said that I simply nodded

Both of them got out of the car

Vic walked around the car stopping at the side. Kim opened the door motioning me to get out I moved closer to the opened door Vic reached her hand out to help me. I took her hand and got out of the car.

Mika : " thank you "

I said to the both of them they both nodded in response

I walk towards the door with the both of them following me the guard of the coconut palace opened the door for us. As we were about to go in.

Vic : " Bravo. Charlie. Gem is secured stay alert "

She said through her mic.

The guard who opened the door greeted me with a polite 'good morning' while he saluted the two that's following me.

I walked through the building with them following me when we got to my office they stop just outside of my office.

Vic : " we'll be outside of your office if you need anything "

Mika : " I want to meet your whole team later at lunch, okay?"

Vic : " yes, ma'am "

She politely said. I walked pass them and entered my office.

I sat down on my swivel chair taking it all in. I let out a deep breath.

Babae? Babae ang mga bagong bodyguards ko?

I mean nothing to take away from them but are they really capable of protecting me?

I guess we'll find out...

Lunch time...

Vic's POV

I walked towards the open porch where Ma'am Mika Reyes is having her lunch my whole team following me.

As we arrived we saw her sitting in a round table alone with some food in front of her.

I stop making my team stop behind me in position.

Vic : " Good afternoon ma'am as requested this is my whole team"

I say with my usual poker face

She stood up and walked towards us shaking hands with everyone on my team us we politely introduced themselves.

Carol : " I'm Carol ma'am I lead team Bravo "

Carol politely said while shaking her hand

Carol : " this is the rest of my team Kianna, Majoy, and Aby.

He pointed at each of his team member making them nod at Mika's way.

Cyd : " I'm Cyd ma'am I'm the team leader of Charlie "

He shook hands with ma'am Mika as well

Cyd : " and this is the rest of my team Des, Cienne and Camille "

Mika : " twins? "

She pointed at Cienne and Camille

" yes ma'am " - Cienne and Camille said at the same time

She walked towards us

Mika : " Vic, right? "

Vic : " yes, ma'am "

Mika : " and you're their leader? "

Vic : " yes, ma'am Kim here is my second in command "

Mika : " so they all take orders from you? "

Vic : " yes ma'am "

Mika : " I'd like to talk to you alone "

I quickly nodded turning to my team.

Vic : " you're all dismissed "

I said to my team. They all nodded im response and walked back outside.

I was left alone with her.

Mika : " take a seat "

So I did I sat down at one of the empty chairs. She sat down at the chair facing me.

Mika : " do you want anything to eat or drink? "

Vic : " no thank you I'm okay "

Mika : " okay well I just wanted to make sure that you and your team is actually up for this job. Protecting me is not an easy task. "

Vic : " I know that ma'am but I can assure you that my team and I will do what is must to keep you safe "

Mika : " I noticed that you're all girl- women rather "

Vic : " don't underestimate us ma'am we are more than capable of protecting you "

Mika : " I like the confidence let's hope you're right "

I kept a straight face even though I'm feeling a little offended and underestimated by my new boss.

Mika : " well that's all, thank you... what shall I call you? "

Vic : " for formality purposes ma'am you can call me agent Vic same goes for my team "

Mika : " okay, thank you agent Vic "

She dismissed me making me stand up and leave her.

Walking away to the front of the Coconut Palace where my team is

Kim : " so what she said? "

Vic : " nothing gusto niya lang makilala yung team "

Kim smiled believing what I said and went in the car.

I'm gonna make sure that we'll prove her wrong about doubting me and my team.
