Mika's POV

" ate please "

My younger brother begs me again for the 12th time in the last 10 minutes. Miko and Mikole has been bugging to go to the beach since this morning.

Mika : " I don't know if we're allowed to "

Miko : " why not? "

Mika : " we're trying to avoid being seen, okay? "

Mikole : " bakit ikaw lumalabas? "

She argues referring to when I go on walks

Mika : " fine, tatanungin ko muna si Vic "

They jump off the couch and went upstairs.

Mika : " uhm Kim if you don't mind can you please call for Vic "

I ask Kim who is standing beside the couch

Kim : " no problem "

She replied and I thought she was gonna go get her but no she simply talked through her mic.

Kim : " Vic, in the living room now please "

She quickly spoke to her mic and not even a minute later Vic came in the living room.

Vic : " cover for me in the backyard for awhile "

She ordered Kim, Kim nodded in response and made her way to the backyard leaving Vic and I all alone.

Vic : " you need anything? "

She ask while standing in front of me with a smile but I see worry on her face.

Mika : " sit down "

I patted the space next to me motioning her to sit which she did.

Vic : " what is it? "

She ask again as soon as she sat down. Oh my Vic you're so paranoid sometimes.

Mika : " well, my siblings wants to go to the beach so I just wanted to ask you if that's okay "

I say with a big smile and a hopeful look on my face.

Vic : " I don't know Miks, I wouldn't recommend it "

She hesitantly answered

Mika : " pleaseeee "

I beg her with a pout on my face because I've been eyeing the beach as soon as we got here and I would do anything for something fun to do here.

Vic : " we don't want to risk you being seen or recognized by anyone "

Mika : " uhm how about I stay here and you let my siblings go "

I try to convince her. I do feel bad for bringing my family to this kind of mess especially my younger siblings they should be having fun and enjoying life but instead here they are stuck at a safe house because of me and my job.

Vic : " do you really wanna go to the beach? "

She softly ask again emphasizing the word 'really'

Mika : " yes po "

She sighs but smiles at me.

Vic : " fine, we'll all go just wear something to somehow cover your face please "

My smile widen

Mika : " yay, thank you "

I stood up from the couch give her a quick kiss on the cheek before going up to my room to change and tell my siblings the good news.
