Vic's POV

Feeling the softness of her hand against mine has to be one of the best feelings in the world.

I look to my right to see her smiling as her mouth opens talking about something but to be honest I'm too distracted to even comprehend what she's saying, I look down at our intertwined hands. It fits perfectly. This feels right.

Mika : " huy, are you even listening? "

I look back up to her face.

Vic : " sorry, I- was distracted "

Mika : " hmm for an agent you get distracted easily "

She teasingly say with a smirk on her face.

Vic : " well in my defense you're the only one who can distract me from anything "

She looks away with a blush. I don't know why but I feel proud of myself when I get her to blush.

I pull her closer to me to the point where our shoulders are brushing against each other as we walk.

I look down at my watch to see we've been walking for a little more than 30 minutes already

Vic : " we should get back "

I say sadly. I truly enjoy some alone time with her so she go on these 'walks' and of course it is required that someone is always with her and I assign myself to do that. Perks of being the leader.

She nodded, we turned around and started walking back to the direction of the safe house though she did not let go of my hand yet.

But once the safe house is in sight we let go of each other's hands. We stop walking and faced each other. I lean closer until my lips was touching her forehead, I leave a soft kiss on her forehead.

When I move back she has this big smile on her face and she continued walking to the safe house with me following her just like old times.

Mika's POV

Once we reached the house Vic didn't go in she stayed in the front yard I guess it's her shift there.

For the past two days I've been going on these 'walks' to kind of work out with her guarding me but in reality we're just using that as an excuse to spend some time together.

But when we're around other people we have to act 'normal', we don't really know what to say to them just yet because in all honesty even we're not sure of what we are. All we know is we have feelings for each other but we don't know what we are right now. One thing I'm sure of is we're giving us a chance.

Tita Bhaby : " how was your walk? "

She asked as soon as I got in

Mika : " uhm good, mag shower lang muna ako "

She nodded in response and I went up to my room to take a shower.

After my shower I decided to stay in my room and watch TV, I am bored beyond my mind I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually miss work.

For almost a week now we have nothing to do here. I continue to watch TV until I fell asleep

I hear my little sister's voice while she gently shake me. I slowly opened my eyes.
