Ella's POV --6:39 am-- *BEEP BEEP BEEP*
"Fuck off!" I yell slapping my phone repeatedly
"Gabriella!" My mom yells
"Sorry!" I yell back. I rub my eyes and then throw my covers off of me. I sit up and stretch, making inhuman noises while doing so. I stand up and walk to my bathroom and turn the light on. I fix my hair and then splash water in my face. I dry it and then walk to my closet and pick out an outfit. A simply pair of leggings and a cropped gray sweatshirt. I throw everything on and then walk to the bathroom. I let my hair down, my long ass hair may I add, and run a brush through it. I spray some product in it and then throw it in a neat but messy bun. I then walk out and put some simple mascara on and chapstick. I'm not one for makeup unless it calls for it. I slip my white vans on and then spray perfume and apply deodorant. I grab my bag and phone and key then walk out and downstairs. I'm greet by my four younger siblings, flinging crap about. My dad try's to keep order while I quickly say bye to my mom. The kids don't settle down so I pip up.
"If you guys to calm down for Mama and dad, I'll bring home the bad lady from school." I tell and my siblings stop where they're at and look at me
"I don't believe." Christina, my 7 year old sister says back. I look at my mom and dad
"Well believe her. I can call her at any moment and tell her to bring the bad lady over." My mom says.
"So I suggest you behave and eat your breakfast." I say to them. They all nod and then walk to their seats. They start to eat and I high five my parents. I go around and kiss the cheeks of all the kids and then hug my dad.
"Have a good day." My mom shouts after me
"Ok." I say back grabbing my keys off the end table by the front door and walking out. I close the door and head to my car. I unlock it and throw everything in. I get in and then start it and back out. I have a nice car I would say. It's a 2017 mustang with dual exhaust. So it's a little loud. I drive off and then turn my music up. Your probably wondering why my parents have so many kids. We're Latina. That's what we do. I'm the oldest out of all of them. The second oldest is twelve. Her name is Sabrina. Then there's Joey. He's 10. Then Christine. She's 7. And last but not least. Lucas. He's 5. And being the oldest has its benefits. I get bayed to babysit them. And like you saw happen, they believe everything I say. When they aren't a pain in the ass, they are super funny to hang out with. They don't go to school. Well except Joey and Sabrina. Chrissy and Lucas are homeschooled. Speaking of school, I park as I arrive at mine. Cringing at the prom posters hung around. Prom is in about a month or so. Maybe two. I have yet to find a date. All my friends have days but me, nahhhh, I guess I'm not promposal worthy. I mean I'm not even asking for a big ass promposal. Even just asking me privately would be fine. But noooo. Whatever. I get snapped out of my thoughts by a tap on my window. I turn my head and see the group of girls I love the most. Sarcasm not intended. Savannah, Sirala, Emilie and Mimi. Mimi has her face pressed against the window. I roll the window down and up, making us all laugh super hard. Mimi backs up and I open the door. I turn my car off and I grab my bag and phone, then close my door and lock my car. I look at the girls and they all smile.
"What?" I ask and Savannah rolls her eyes with a sigh.
"Prom is in less then two months. Two months! You haven't even gotten a dress." She exclaims
"I haven't even gotten a date yet Savannah. I don't even know if I'm going." I say as we walk in to the school. They all roll their eyes and groan.
"You should just go with us." Sirala says
"Oh definitely! I can hard core 9th wheel! Don't mind if I do!" I say sarcastically and Emilie shoves me laughing
"Guys. I'd be much better at home with my mmmmm the devils." I say and they laugh
"Whatever. Your choice." Mimi says. We all hug each other and spilt up due to the fact that the bell rang. I walk to my first class. Math. Great. I walk through the door way and go and sit down. I get what I need out and just go on my phone. Class hasn't officially started so everyone is talking. Of course about prom.
"I can't believe Chase asked Grace by just writing on her car. That's so original." Lindsey, a popular girl says from behind me.
"Right? And when Illy asked Hannah. That was so cuteeee." Her friend, Bri, squeals
"What about you Ella?" I hear Lindsey ask. I turn around and look at he r
"Huh?" I ask
"You know. Prom. Do you have a date yet? If you don't, you probably won't get one. It's kinda late." She says with a smirk. Lindsey has never liked me. Vise versa. We've just always butted heads
"It's two months out." I say back
"Yea. It's takes a month or so to plan out everything for prom." She says and I roll my eyes
"We aren't getting married Lindsey." I say
"So you don't have a date?" She asks with a laugh. Feeling the need to show her up. I think about who my sister really likes. Jack Gilinsky. Why not? Maybe she doesn't know who he is. I don't really.
"Yea I do actually." I say
"Really? Who?" She asks now intrigued.
"Jack Gilinsky." I say and she laughs
"The Jack Gilinsky? Haha very funny Gabriella." She says rolling her eyes
"I'm not joking. You know how people ask their celebrity crushes to prom? That's what I did. He said yes." I say and she rolls her eyes
"I'll believe it when I see it." She says and I turn around. But then start to panic. If I can't get Jack Gilinsky to go to prom with me, I'm fucked. I'll be the laughing stock of school. Thank god today is Friday. I'll have the whole weekend to try and get his attention. Seems easier in my head.
