Prom (JG) *SLOW UPDATES*

Ella's POV —later—
I wake up to a bunch of beeping and sobs. People rushing around me in doctor coats and nurse outfits.
"Mom?" I ask. Everyone stops
"Ella. Can you hear me?" A doctor asks. I nod.
"Good good. My name is doctor Jacobs. How are you feeling?" She asks
"Empty. Hungry. Tired." I say and she nods
"Ok. Well due to the amount of pills you took, we had to flush you stomach. Which knocked out everything in there. You'll feel tired for a little. Your moms not in the room but-"
"I am." I hear Mimi say. Soon she's by my side holding my hand.
"I'll let your family in here. Take it easy Ella." She warns and I nod. She walks out and the nurses follow her. I look at Mimi and she's smiling at me through the tears.
"I'm ok Mimi." I say with a soft smile. She nods and smiles back
"I know. I know you are. And I'm glad you are." She says and that's when the door opens and all my siblings run to me.
"Are you ok?"
"Did you hurt yourself?"
"I drew you a picture." Lucas says and I smile. My mom walks to my side and just looks at me. And the leans down and hugs me tighter then shes ever done before.
"You scared me Ella." She says and I smile
"I know. And I'm sorry...I guess the whole thing outside got to me and the prom ordeal.." I say and trail off.
"Your dad and some of his friends are taking care of that right now." She says and I nod.

Everyone stays in my room for a little longer and the leaves to go get something to eat. I'm on my phone and on twitter. Still strapped to all this crap though. Everyone is tweeting that whoever did that crap on my house could've killed me and needs to show themselves. I roll my eyes and exit out of twitter. Bullshit. That's what it is. Just the there's a knock. The door opens and Mimi is standing there.
"I have a guest." She says and opens the door wider and jack is standing there in sweats and a black top. Holding a teddy bear and chocolates. I smile and he walks in and mimi walks out closing the doors.
"Why are you here?" I ask looking at him laughing.
"Cuz. I wanted to be here." He says and I smile. He hands me the bear and chocolates and I thank him.
"Your wearing the bracelet still?" He asks looking at my wrist and I nod.
"Perfect fit." I say holding it up and he nods. I can tell he's holding something back
"Go ahead. Ask." I say
"Why? Why did you do that?" He asks and I shrug setting the chocolates on the table next to me.
"You were perfectly fine when I left you. Is....did you do it cuz of me?" He asks and I shake my head
"No one explained?" I ask and he shakes his head.
"Someone put a poster on my house that said Adopted Virgin Marry. I know it shouldn't effect me but it did. And then things came flooding back about the prom night and I just....couldn't take it I guess." I say and again, shrug. He nods
"You could've texted me." He says
"I could've done a lot. But you shouldn't have to be worried about me." I say and he frowns
"Why?" He asks
"Cuz. We aren't dating. We aren't that close. I just don't want to burden you with my nonsense when you have other shit to deal with." I say and he sits down on the chair next to the bed.
"I still would've listened." He says
"Why are you here?" I ask and it sounds meaner then I meant it to.
"I was worried and I cared about you." He says
"You shouldn't." I say.
"Yes I should Ella. You shouldnt try and end your life over some bullshit some people said or did." He says
"You don't even know my feelings Jack." I say
"You just explained to me." He says
"I explained to you a reason why I did. Not the full story." I say.
"What's the full story?" He asks
"You don't need to know." I say. He rolls his eyes and runs his hands through his hair.
"You shouldn't of even came to me to prom. You should t of came to the hospital. And you shouldn't care." I say
"So why did you ask me to go to prom?" He asks
"Cuz I told Lindsey that you were going with me. I don't wanna look like a idiot so I figured if-"
"So you only asked me to impress a girl that ended up embarrassing you anyways." He says
"I didn't know she was going to do that." I say
"Really? Cuz maybe you set it up to get attention from everyone." He says I give him a look
"I didn't. Why would I do that? If I wanted attention I would've hooked up with a bunch of guys." I say
"Maybe all this." He motions to me and the room "was an attention stunt." He says. I look at him and a tear falls out of my eye
"Why are you being such a jerk?" I ask. He sighs and gets up.
"I'm gonna go." He says and I look at him
"Why?"
"Cuz I don't need to be here right now. We both need to calm down and talk later." He says and I can tell his angry.
"Why are you so pissed Jack?" I ask
"Cuz I don't know what to believe Ella." He says raising his voice a little.
"What options do you have to believe?" I ask using the same tone.
"Lindsey texted me. I don't know how she got my number but she was saying you payed her to do that. None of that happened. You were never abused by your parents. You not adopted. Your not a virgin." He says
"Get out." I say plainly
"So are you saying that's true?" He asks
"I'm saying get out. If you can't believe the one that went through that shot and believe a lying slut, then you can get out and lose my number." I say and he rolls his eyes and walks out. I scream into the bear and tears just come out. I chuck the bear at the door and then just cry, soon falling asleep.
