Ella's POV --5:56 pm-- I'm currently spam dming Jack Gilinsky. I really need him to answer. At least with an I'm busy so I can show Lindsey that he was busy and couldn't go. I decide it's a long shot but his friend, Johnson, has opened my sisters dms before. So I make a new message with him and quickly DM him. 'Hey, this is probably really rude but I need help. I'm trying to get Jack to go to prom with me. If by any chance you see this, please. Please. Tell him. It would be so much to me! Love you and thank you so much.' I send it. The love you part is something my sister has always sent. So I figured I'd send it. I probably won't get an immediate answer. So I decide to junky in the shower. I grab some shorts and a sweatshirt and then walk to my shower. I close the door and put some music on my phone and then strip, and hop in.
Jack's POV (G will be referred to as Jack) "God damn Hayes. Your a ball hog." I say and he laughs and passes the ball to me. Hayes, Nash, Tez and I are playing basketball. Hayes and I are on one team and Nash and Tez are on one team. I pass the ball back to Hayes and wipe my face with my shirt. "Gilinsky!" I hear Johnson yell from behind me. "Aye. Time out." I say and then walk over to Johnson. "What?" I ask and he shows me his phone. It's on a DM with a girl named EllaLopez. I frown up at him and he motions to the phone. "Hey, this is probably really rude but I need help. I'm trying to get Jack to go to prom with me. If by any chance you see this, please. Please. Tell him. It would be so much to me! Love you and thank you so much." I read. I look up at Johnson and he's laughing "You just got asked to prom." He says and I shake my head and laugh lightly. I walk over to the table where my phone is and unlock it. I go to Instagram and then go to my DM requests. I see the same girl has messaged me too. I click on her messages. There's three of them. 'Wanna go to prom?' 'Ok that's probably really strong. I should tell a little bit more.' 'I'm Ella. I'm 18. And I need a date to prom. 😂 that's still really strong. I live in Nebraska. Omaha to be exact and my prom is in two months. No one has even made a move to ask me and I was wondering if you would like to go with me? You don't have to its fine. Ik this is a long stretch but oh well. Trying and failing is better then not trying at all.' I smile and by now everyone is at the table. "So you got asked to prom huh?" Tez asks and I nod laughing. "Go to her profile." Hayes says drinking water. I click on her profile picture and it takes me to her profile. "She's private." I say showing them. "So follow her dumbass." Nash says and I laugh and follow her.
Ella's POV As I'm scrolling through Twitter, I get a notification from Instagram. 'JackGilinsky has followed you'. I quickly go to it and accept his follow. I then go to my messages and see that both him and Johnson have seen my messages. Just for shits and giggles. I stand up and walk to my mirror and take a picture and post it

EllaLopez: 😜😳 Jack's POV I refresh my notifications and see Ella followed me back. I go to her page and my eyes go wide. "Holy shit." I say and show the guys. Her most recent picture is fucking hot. All the guy's mouths hang open as they look at the picture. "Yea. Go to prom with her." Hayes says and we all laugh. "I'll message her."
