Have you just sat down and stared at the sky and assumed the clouds forming different shapes. You assume there is a dragon and there is a castle when the reality is far from fantasy. I wish life was this easy and moulded like clouds and how we perceived it. For some, it might be a lion and for some, it might be a dragon.
But life for me was already moulded by fate and in that twisted fate, I managed to do something stupid, fall in love. Least I could do is confess to myself that I am in love with Jeremiah Westall. The first thought I saw him at Sullivan's place was his preservation and not mine. I felt guilty as hell for placing him before Jack who had always been there for me. But tell that to my irrational heart that was beating for Jeremy now.
I will never tell him that because I am not that stupid but if something happens to him because of me I will never forgive myself for it.
Sullivan was going to make Jeremy do something dangerous and it scared me that the slowly healing Jeremy will do something that he can't come back from.
"Time to run princess." Leanne was standing in front of me.
"Anne?" I asked just checking if I was still in right mind.
She untied my limp self and supported my body weight as I leaned on her realising my half paralytic body.
"How?" I asked.
"I kick ass and I see drugs for them so I can easily walk in and out. From the green door, you are on your own. I can't risk my monthly allowance and enmity with Sullivan." She said in a cold tone but she just saved me and it might be to impress Jack but she was here.
Walking slowly with wall's support I kept walking. Nausea was taking over as I walked out the door and I was scared that I will collapse right on the verge of escape.
"Reen, let's go." I looked up and saw Sam as I fumbled weakly.
She caught my hand and helped me inside the car where there were two other guys and a girl. I smiled for reason relieved that she made friends and my death will not be as painful for her.
As the car rushed by she asked, "What is wrong Reen? You look really green and sick."
"Let's take her to a doctor. She looked hurt and severely dehydrated."
"Call Jeremy first," I said with a choked voice.
I can't go to a doctor.
"Already messaged him. He knows you are safe. Jack asked Leanne she risked her life for you. No one else was ready to go against Sullivan." Sam said.
Leanne was in serious danger now and I just messed up her life for someone like me who has no life anymore.
"Did they hurt you?" She asked with a concerned tone.
I shook my head in a weak no.
"You have several injuries, Maureen, I am taking you to doctor." A guy sitting next to us said.
