"Sorry I was sick yesterday class." Lovina apologized.
"So how was yesterday?"
"Bad! We missed you." The kids all pouted.
"Aw! I missed you guys too." Lovina smiled.

"Today we're going to be talking about siblings." Lovina announced.
"How many of you have brothers or sisters?" Lovina asked.
A couple of students raised their hands, Lovina raised her hand too.
"Miss Lovina! Miss Lovina!" Michelle jumped out of her chair.

"Yes, Michelle." Lovina smiled.
"I have two older brothers! They're twins." Michelle was so proud.
"Did you know that I have a twin sister?" Lovina asked the class.
The class looked shocked.
"Does she look just like you?" Michelle asked.
"No, we look different." Lovina replied.

"How many of you want a sibling or more siblings?" A lot of students raised their hands, including Mateo.
Lovina felt relieved.
"Now we're going to read a book about siblings." Lovina walked to the story time area and all the kids followed.

---

"Miss Lovina, what's your sister like?" Mateo asked.
"She's very happy and energetic." Lovina smiled.
"Is she pretty like you?" Mateo asked.
"You met her, remember?" Lovina tried to change the topic.
"Oh yeah!" Mateo remembered.

"Papá printed out a picture of Tortuga for me." Mateo pulled out a picture out of his lunchbox.
"Wow, he's so cute!" Lovina fake squealed. In reality, she had a small fear of turtles.

At the end of the day, Lovina talked to the parents.
"Miss Lovina!" Michelle called. "These are my big brothers!" Michelle gave Lovina a toothy grin.

"You're a twin too! That's so cool!" Alfred shouted.
"Are you two identical like us?" Matthew asked.
"No, not really." Lovina replied.
"Whose the older twin?" Alfred asked.
"I'm the older one." Lovina replied.
The two seemed really interested in the fact that Lovina had a twin just like them.
"Mathieu! Alfred! Michelle! We need to get going. If not Mum will make supper." Marianne called.
All three kids looked at each then ran to their maman at top speed.
'I guess their mum is a horrible chef.' Lovina chuckled.

Lovina looked around and Antonio was waiting for her at the usually spot.
"Miss Lovina. Mateo told me you weren't in yesterday. I hope everything is alright." Antonio was genuinely concerned.
"Just a little food poising." Lovina lied. She wanted to tell Antonio everything, but she couldn't. Not know.

"Bye Miss Lovina." Mateo hugged Lovina's leg.
"Bye Mateo." Lovina smiled.

Antonio helped his son climb into the car.
"I love Miss Lovina so much!" Mateo smiled.
Antonio smiled too. He couldn't exactly tell his son that e was also madly in love with his teacher.

"Can I bring Tortuga to school?" Mateo asked.
"No, he'll get lost." Antonio chuckled.
"Awww." Mateo pouted.
"And besides, he likes it better at home." Antonio pointed out.
"Yeah, you're right." Mateo shrugged.

Once the two got home, Antonio texted Lovina.

A: we still on for tonight
L: yes, why?
A: you seemed tense today
L: just one of those days
A: alright. Pick you up once Mateo is with Bella.
L: alright

Antonio could tell something was off. She seemed so monotone.
"Mateo, auntie Bella got that movie you wanted to see." Antonio smiled.
"She got Moana!" Mateo jumped up and down.
"I'll drive you over to her house." The two got back in the car.

"Hi Mateo!" Bella smiled.
"Aunt Bella! I'm so excited to watch Moana!" Mateo hugged his favourite aunt.
"I also made your favourite waffles." Bella added.
"Yeah!" Mateo cheered.

"I'll see you later." Antonio hugged his son.
"Bye Papá." Mateo waved.

Antonio rushed over to Lovina's house. Something was up and he needed to know what.
