Chapter 41

Spain was great and all but Lovina preferred home or Italy; Italy was her second home.
"Maddie invited us over for supper for a kid free night, Amelia is babysitting Benjamin and she offered to babysit Mateo." Lovina said as she read the text from Madeline to Antonio.

"Sounds good, what time?" Antonio asked.
"Tonight, at 6:30." Lovina said without looking up from her phone.

"Lovi! It's almost five!" Antonio shouted.
"Oh fuck! Mateo get ready and put your shoes on!" Lovina shouted as she quickly walked up the stairs.

She threw on the first dress she could find and debated on doing her hair but decided not to. She applied a quick swipe of lipstick and she was ready.

Antonio and Mateo were already waiting by the door by the time she came down.

"Hey dudes and dudette!" Amelia greeted.
"Hola Amelia!" Antonio greeted.
"Hello..." Mateo said shyly.
"Come on little dude, you remember me! It's Auntie Amelia!" Amelia tried to get Mateo to be less shy.
"He'll warm up to you just give him a few minutes. Okay be good Mateo." With that the couple went back to the car.

"Do you really trust that Hamburger bitch with your kid?" Lovina asked.
"He calls you mom, you can call Mateo your kid too." Antonio corrected.
"I didn't know if you'd be okay with it or not." Lovina crossed her arms.

"Hallo, Toni! Lo-" Gilbert froze as he greeted the guests.

He saw something he hadn't seen in a while. A pregnant Lovina... or at least he thought she was pregnant, she could just been very bloated, he did remember the Italian had a large appetite.

"Lovina! It's been awhile!" Maddie smiled.
"Look how big you've gotten! How many weeks now?" Maddie asked.

'Okay, so she is pregnant?' Gilbert thought. He was too afraid to risk asking and getting yelled at.

"19 weeks." Lovina replied.
"Wow!" Maddie awed.
The two girls went off to the kitchen to chat.

"She's pregnant, right?" Gilbert asked Antonio.
"Si!" Antonio smiled.
"Congrats, I've been trying to convince Birdie to have another baby. Maybe if she sees Lovina it will help convince her?" Gil shrugged.

"Nah trust me, I want a big family, you know one with lots of kids, but Lovina says this is the last one... I hope she changes her mind." Antonio had always wanted a big family, but he was willing to give up that dream for Lovina.

"Lovina loves kids and no matter how much she complains about pregnancy; she secretly loves them. Trust me." Gil whispered to guarantee that the girls wouldn't be able to hear him.

"Mio Dio does she ever complain. You should have been there when she saw her first stretch mark. It was the end of the world." Antonio laughed.

"I can imagine, Birdie cried when she got her first." Gilbert added.

"How is Mateo handling all this?" Gil asked.
"Surprisingly well, he's been calling Lovina 'mama' and he's excited to have a sibling." Antonio responded.

"I want to have another kid soon because I don't want too much of an age difference, you know like Luddy and I. We were very close and I want that for Benji and his Bruder." Gil explained.

"That makes sense, I can't see Mateo and the baby not being close, but Mateo is a very loving kid." Antonio didn't want to think of his kids fighting. He wanted them to be close, unlike him and his brother. He wanted the two to have a sibling relationship like Lovina and her sisters. Minus all the yelling.

"Has Lovina picked which sexe she has her heart set on yet?" Gilbert asked.

"Yep, she's convinced it's going to be a girl, she said Carmen told her in a dream." Antonio chuckled.

"Last time she was convinced it was going to be a boy and she was wrong, it was a little girl... Maddie also thought Benji was going to be a girl, but nope boy." Gil paused for a moment. Antonio knew that the miscarriage was an extremely touchy subject for both Gil and Lovina; he knew not to go any further into it.

"It's ready!" Lovina shouted from in the kitchen.

The one thing Lovina hates about being pregnant was that she wasn't allowed to have alcohol. She had practically been raised to have a glass of wine at dinner gatherings.

Of course she fought the urge because she didn't want to hurt the baby.

"Lovina told me you find out the sex tomorrow are you excited?" Maddie asked Antonio.
"Yeah! I can't wait! Boy or Girl, I don't care!" Antonio smiled.

"It's a girl," Lovina grumbled as she stabbed into her meal.
"Mmm... now I'm convinced it's a boy." Antonio teased.
"Sheesh! Get a room you two!" Maddie giggled.
"Maddie are you going to have another baby?" Antonio asked, hoping to help his friend out.

"Gil wants to have another baby, but I want to wait until after the terrible twos, but Benji's a calm baby so maybe." Maddie replied.

"My sorella has been begging Potato bastard to have a baby. He's actually doing good... I think I threw up in my mouth by complimenting him, ew! He won't even have sex with her until after the wedding now. It's actually quite funny because the sexual tension is killing both of them." Lovina laughed.

"That explains why West looked like he wanted to pounce on Feli, last time they came over." Gil laughed, he had never seen is brother more desperate to do the nasty.

I'm back from the dead. I keep forgetting about this fanfic, but yeah. Also I'm letting y'all name Lovina and Antonio's kid! Have fun with that. You'll need a boys name and a girls name (I can't spoil the surprise) and it has to be Spanish, Italian, or Both.
