(AUTHORS NOTE: For any reader who notices I spelled Lucifer differently, it's bc I wanted his name to be a reference to the devil and the original spelling is incorrect... Yay me!!)

The next morning, around noon, we rode our hell-hound Chauffeur, Lucifer, to Nashville. When the four of us arrived, there was time to spare- so we decided to undress from our disgusting battle-rags and buy clothing that covered our wounds. With the payment of Hannah's money she stole from the currency bunker, we traveled to several near by outlet stores. Ethan did his part by picking out our clothes for  us, being the son of the chief-executive of the fashion police, and all. So we arrived at the Parthenon as fashionable as (not) ever.

I wore a black leather jacket with a maroon t-shirt underneath. a pair of jeans and converse completed my Hades-like look (at least that's what Ethan called it). Hillary attired in a green sundress (How did you get her in that thing, Ethan- straight jacket? Knock-out gas, maybe?) She wore brown high-heel shoes (How Ethan, How?!?) and her hair was braided back with a white flower pin. (So she basically looked like Joy from Inside-Out but with out all the joy).

Hannah rocked a camo- long-sleeve shirt and a red tie around the collar. She also black corduroys and red boots. The master of swag himself was truly a guy of good taste. He wore a blue dress-shirt with a gray vest over lapping it. As if black slack and white high-tops weren't enough, a Fedora plopped over his dusty brown hair, making him look overly dressed (on the bright-side, his mother and Michael Jackson would be proud).

At the Parthenon, there was a parking lot full of cars and community buses. The Centennial park took place in front of the actual museum; this where kids and families played and relaxed under the bright sun. We traipsed our way through the park, walking around trees and family picnic tables. We started to waltz into the museum when I saw a sign at the edge of the park: NO ANIMALS ALLOWED BEYOND THIS POINT! I looked at Lucifer, who was in cat form, lying in my cradling arms. I lifted him up and faced him toward me so I could kiss him on the ear. "Sorry, Buddy." I apologized. As I put him down on the grass, his tail flicked in annoyance. Apparently, he didn't like the discrimination these museum people had against animals.

The Parthenon was surely breathtaking. A floor of three-foot thick limestone (or a material that looked like limestone) stretched to what seemed a quarter of a mile. Ivory-colored Greek pillars stood around the perimeter of the base, holing up its triangular-pyramid roof. The front of roof had carvings of how the wisdom goddess, Athena, battled the god of the sea Poseidon, over being the patron-god of Athens.

"Caleb's here," Hillary gestured to the parking lot. "His bus just pulled in." A gray bus had parked and twenty to thirty filed out of it. I could tell they were the juvie kids because once the driver got out of the bus, two of kids took his keys and tossed them around, making the driver the monkey-in-the-middle.

"Let's go already!" My fists haven't punched anything in over eight hours, and unless we want Ethan looking less-Aphrodite-like, I suggest we go." Hannah urged.

Ethan covered his face and stepped away from the Daughter of Ares. "I don't wanna be ugly!" he squealed.

"I don't mind it," Hillary smirked. "It would be payback for making me wear this dress."

"Hey, to be honest, you look hot!" Ethan admitted.

Hillary sneered. "To be honest, you're going to get a brown high heel up your nose and a flower barrette where the sun don't shine if you don't stop flirting!"

"Why am I the prime target of ridicule today?"

"Guys!" I snapped, interrupting the feud. "Tour to join, demigod to find, possible monsters and/or gods to fight! any of that breaching you attention? I'm surprised you ever got stuff accomplished when you three ran on quests by yourselves!" After a few moments of awkward silence, we headed into the museum.
