"Who is he?" I say hesitantly.
Roland clearly didn't like my question that he had already tried to avoid. " He... is a bad person you should stay away from."
And he's avoiding it again.
Well I know that much about him already...
"But... why is he so bad?" I ask looking into his eyes to make him answer.
He frowned at me. "You saw what he was gonna do to your friend. You saw what he did to my leg and your asking why he's so bad?" He said with anger rising up in him.
Why doesn't he like talking about this. I want to know.
" Yes... I know. But thats not what im saying. Im saying why is he bad?" I say softly.
His face turns from angry... to something sad. "I don't know... he just... did some bad things in his passed, and can't seem to let them go." He sighed at his own words.
I felt sorry for Roland.
" Was he.. a friend of yours?" After I said that, I saw a glint of regret in his eyes...
"He and I... we were childhood friends. We grew up together." He let out a sigh and continued. " We had a friendship that made everyone jealous. No one could separate us... well, until he..."
He stops and stares at me. "He did something he shouldn't have. He got angry and couldn't control himself... so he got tooken away to a Psychiatric Hospital..."
His eyes were covered with a layer of water as he spoke.
"Later, he some how escaped from the hospital, and became an even worse person than before. He's.... crazy." He chuckles to himself, then frowned deeply.
He stared back at me. His eyes told me that was all he was gonna tell me right now.
My eyes, widened from what he told me, I shake my head a bit to pull myself together.
I open my mouth to speak, but I was lost for words.
Wow... I kinda regret asking about him... I feel so sad for Roland now. He must have had such a hard time, going through all this.
"I'm... sorry I asked..." I tare my eyes away from his before he makes me cry.
"Its okay... it feels.. better to get that of my chest." He hesitates then speaks again. "You're the only one who knows about this besides my mother." He stared at me curiously and intensely.
He seemed so confused...
I was confused too. And scared. What if, since I'm one of the few who knew a bit about this guy... he would want to get rid of me.
" I... better get going then." He walks off down the path he walked home me on without another word.
It was already dark out. I didnt even notice.
I enter my home and see my parents watching me.
I was shoked to see them just standing there with curiosity in there eyes.
"Who was he?" My mother said with a faint smile crossing her face.
Oh crap. They were wathing me! What the heck!
My father just stared at me. I couldn't read the expression he was making. It made me a bit worried.
" So...?" My mother snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Oh..uh- he's a friend of mine.." I say with not very good conviction in my voice.
" Boyfriend?" My father says with an eyebrow raised.
