-- Oof I'm sorry I haven't uploaded in a while. I know I promised a Negan POV this chapter.... But that didn't happen lmao. Next chapter though, definitely! He'll probably have the majority of the spotlight. Enjoy! :D --

Pain shot through my skinned, gushing cheek as I applied antiseptic alcohol on it. "Damn her." I muttered, thinking about how stuck up that Rosita girl was. Even though I beat her pretty good, there was still lots of anger left inside of me. Not only towards her, but at everything.

After putting a few bandages on my cheek, I took a good, long look at myself in the mirror. I felt like an entirely different person. I've never been one to lose my temper so easily. It scared me to think that I was slowly becoming cold like Erik did.

That's now how I wanted to be, I've always strived to be a nice person. But this was like a disease that was slowly taking over.

I guess you could say I caught it from all the toxic things that had been happening to me.

In that moment, I would've killed to have Negan's arms around me again. I realized that I now thought of him the same way I used to think about Erik: as my home. With that, I just felt so homesick for Negan.

I went and plopped myself down on the couch for a nap. That fight had definitely taken my energy because I slept for a good three and a half hours. I did all that I could to stay inside my house for the day. Going outside and being around those people would only cause more problems for me.

When the sun went down though, I noticed that it was a awfully quiet. I figured I'd hear some neighbors talking outside at the very least. But there was nothing but silence, making me assume that something was up.

Out of curiosity, I stepped outside. There was no one out roaming the street, or on their porches. My eyes scanned the whole area for the slightest sign of someone. That's when my eyes fixated on a bright light coming from the front of the community. It looked to be like a bonfire. "They didn't even invite me... Assholes." I murmured to myself.

I could only wonder what they were chatting about without me there. All of them were probably having the time of their lives without me to rain on their parades. It wouldn't hurt to just do a bit of eavesdropping, so I made my way over there.

The closer I got, the more I strained my ears to listen. There were no laughs, it sounded like a serious matter. I slowly tiptoed behind a tall bush that was right around the corner from them. They were at the perfect distance to where I could hear every little thing they said.

"That girl knocked me out, for fuck's sake! That bitch has no place here, especially coming from Negan." Rosita's angry voice echoed.

I could already see what was happening. They were plotting to kick me out of the Alexandria Safe Zone.

Everyone seemed to agree with her, some nodded and others chanted their words of approval. Rick just stood back, hearing out their opinions. "Yeah! Besides, how can we know if she's like a spy or something? She could be plotting to kill us in our sleep for all we know." Another dark-haired girl spoke out.

My blood boiled the more they spoke. I tightly gripped onto a branch of the bush, trying to suppress all my anger.

Michonne stepped forward. She put her hand up to signal everyone to be quiet and listen. "That's my point exactly. How can we know if she's up to something bad? We have no proof. So don't go accusing Arabella of something like that when you don't even know!" Her voice sounded hostile.

"You hear that, Rick? Your girlfriend is sticking up for the enemy!" Rosita spat.

                   "The enemy"

Those words kept replaying in my head. That's really how they all saw me. I thought that incident today was bad enough, but hearing them talk about me like that totally did it for me. Finally, I just couldn't keep in my anger anymore and let loose.

My little legs stomped their way to group. I stood near the fire, glaring at every single person there. "You really gathered a meeting without informing me about it? I mean come on, I am a citizen of Alexandria aren't I?" I challenged them.

They all glanced at each other awkwardly, not wanting to say anything. "Nothing to say, huh?" I rubbed my face and took a deep breath to try and gain some composure. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible. I'd totally lost myself in a wave of rage.

I quickly approached Rick. "You aren't even saying a word... You know why? Because you're a COWARD!" I snapped, with a finger pointing in his face. Suddenly, he roughly grabbed my arm and squeezed it. There was nothing but hatred in his eyes.

"To answer your question, you're not a citizen of Alexandria... Not anymore." He spoke through gritted teeth. Rick let go and pushed my arm away at those last few words.

My stomach sank. I realized that my fury and attitude had dug me into a hole. With worried eyes, I looked over at Michonne. She kept her gaze to the ground, almost as if she wanted nothing to do with me anymore. "Grab your things, and leave." Rick growled.

Rosita was staring at me with a cocky smirk. I was defeated and she knew it. Everyone knew it.

With my head hanging low, I turned and headed back to my house alone. I got in and filled a bag with food, water, and the first aid kit. Than, I grabbed a knife.

Coming to Alexandria was the dumbest thing I'd ever thought of. It was only natural for them to hate me, after all I did come from "the big, bad Saviours". But nothing would make me ashamed of where I called home. My home was Negan's sanctuary, in his arms, and I knew it was time for me to go back.

When I had all my things gathered, I went to the front gate. Michonne was there waiting to release me. We both stood there in silence for a few moments until she cleared her throat to speak. "Look... I know what happened here wasn't good. But, I know that if you guys all just gave each other a chance, none of this would've happened. I'm sorry that things have to be this way." She said.

I looked up at the night sky, trying to find the right words. "It's okay... I'm going back home anyways. That is if I can even find my way." I replied, scratching my head.

"Just stay on the highway and it'll take you straight to Negan's sanctuary. Rick's son, Carl, got us the directions so hopefully that helps." Michonne stared at me with a sympathetic smile and then pulled me in for a hug. It took me by surprise but I hugged back. "It's a long walk so please stay safe." She said.

"Thank you so much... You stay safe too." I parted from the embrace with a soft smile.

Michonne pushed the tall gates opened. I gave her one last glance, seeing Rick and everyone else watching as I left. When the gates were closed, the road ahead of me was consumed with darkness. "This should be fun."
