Chapter 8

The bell rings and classes are over. I get up and leave the classroom.

Since Gaby is not here today I'll go home with Sam so I'm waiting for him outside the school.

"Hey stupid!" Alex shouts and I turn to look at him. "Oh hey, where's Sam?" I ask him, it's just him and Robbie.

"Oh he's staying a bit longer since he has to practice soccer. Apparently there's some kind of tournament." Robbie says looking at the school."

"Oh well I guess I'm goin home alone then." I turn my back on them "See ya guys."

"Wait." Alex grabs my shoulder "Ahh wanna come with us." He says scratching his head.

"Umm sure if you guys don't mind." I say.

"Of course we don't. C'mon let's go." Robbie says and we all start walking.

"So..." I start talking "You guys excited for the field trip?"

"No." Robbie says bluntly.

"Why not? I think it'll be cool." I ask turning to look at him.

"I don't like going to the woods. There's gonna be bugs and no wifi. " he says pushing his glasses up

"Damn you're no fun Rob. You don't like fun or something?" Alex says poking him with an elbow.

"Oh shut up idiot, I got a bigger brain then you. You got a dog brain, I don't even know how you pass." Robbie says shaking his head.

"STOP TELLING ME I HAVE A DOG BRAIN JUST BECAUSE MY GRADES ARE NOT AS HIGH AS YOURS!" Alex snaps at him.

"Oh I'm sorry did I hit a nerve mister Bad Boy?" Robbie turns to him with a grin.

"Omg your annoying face makes me want to punch you." Alex says gritting his teeth.

"Ok idiots. That's enough being stupid for a day. I just want to get home okay? " I hit them both in the head and they glare at me.

"Shut it stupid, you're no better then me" Alex says still glaring at me.

Now I'm the one who wants to punch HIM in the face...

I put on my most deadliest look and they both flinch.

"Maybe we should stop Alex ahahahaha.."

"Yeah you're right Robbie ahahaha that's would be smart."

Hmph best talent I've ever had. I flip my hair back and start walking in front of them. They follow.

I get home and throw my bag just so I don't have to carry it anymore and sit on the couch in the living room. Going through social media.

I'll tell Gaby about the field trip. I open my messaging app and start texting.

Sarah: YO GABS

Gaby: SUP BIH

Sarah: So today the teacher told us that we were going on a field trip

Gaby: Sounds dope, when we goin?

Sarah: In like three days. We goin into woodz

Gaby: Ya that sounds like fun

And so we continue our convo when my brother walks into the house.

"Hey bro. How was-" I stop in the middle of my sentence when I see what Sam looks like.

"Jesus What the hell happened to you?!"

"Ugh boys..." I shake my head. "I know right..." Sarah agrees.
