Chapter 20

I'm walking through darkness, not a sound can be heard apart from our footsteps. Wind is blowing and I'm looking up. The sky is filled with glittering stars. This sight, I have never seen something so beautiful.

Then Alex wraps his hands around me and I look back down "Careful stupid you could've tripped again." He sighs. "Oops?" I smile at him but I can't really see his face because it's already dark. "Listen I..." he's cut off by someone calling us.

"ALEX! SARAH!" we hear footsteps and we turn to look in that direction.

Luke and Robbie are running towards us. "OMG WE FINALLY FOUND YOU!" Robbie starts panting and I don't know what Luke is doing he's just standing in one place.

"What are you doing?" Luke says gritting his teeth. Why is he mad?

I realised Alex still has his hands wrapped around me and my face flushes. But I don't really want him to let go. He's not showing any signs of letting me go either. He's warm and I'm really cold.

Then Luke separates us "Dude seriously what are you doing?" He's glaring at Alex. "She was gonna fall so I caught her." Alex says in a deep voice "AND?" Luke lifts an eyebrow.

"AND SHE was cold." Alex crosses his hands and I shake Luke's hand off my wrist. "It's fine Luke. Did you find the others?" I look over at Robbie.

"No, I was alone when I woke up again." Robbie shakes his head. I wrap my hands around me to keep me warm at least a little. I sigh "Can we just find the other, God damnit I'm sick of this place already..."

"Oh no shit I totally love it here." Alex says sarcastically. I look down.

My cheeks are getting red because of the cold, and we have really cold nights here, my hands are pale. We're walking, somewhere in the middle of these creepy woods. My panic is slowly rising, it's brining back some memories from the past. I feel like curling into a ball and crying but I already cried today. I don't want those idiots to call me crybaby.

Alex pinches my cheek "Cheer up stupid we'll get out of here don't worry." He takes my hand. And then suddenly he's on the floor, Luke starts whistling innocently and continuing to walk. "DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM MR. KNOW-IT-ALL?!" Alex snaps at him.

Luke gasps "What? I don't know what you mean."

"SHUT THE FUCK UP BOTH OF YOU! UGH I CAN'T TAKE THIS." Robbie pulls his hair in frustration. "Oh now you know how I feel." I shake my head.

Sam:

We sat down to rest but Jay here fell asleep. Now I'm carrying her on my back while she's still sleeping and Amber on the other hand is listing things she lost by now in the woods. I can take Jay she's not annoying me in any way but "Omg will you shut up already you dipshit!" I can't yell because I'll wake Jay up and I DO NOT want to mess with this crazy girl if she wakes up. She'd kill both of us and she was already planning on killing Amber and that'll give her more fuel. "UMM HELLO? THAT'S VERY IMPOR-" Amber is cut off by Jay's murmuring "Mmm unicorns.." I sigh in relief.

And then glare at Amber "I swear to God if she wakes up because of you I'm gonna tie you up to a tree and let those wolves have fun with you."
She freezes and I continue walking. Hmph that's better...

Alex:

Luke has been staring at me for at least 10 minutes now. "So did you find anything interesting in me. Oh don't worry I know I'm hot." I give him a pat on the shoulder. "Wh-what?" He stammers "I don't think you're hot and I didn't know you had such a big ego.."
"Oh don't worry Luke, Alex has an ego bigger then his penis." Robbie cuts in and grins widely "Oh I'm gonna rip that mop off your head." I say threatening him "Oh I'm so scared." He waves his hands in the air and I frown.

I was about to say something when Sarah, who was lost in her own world of thoughts started and was behind us, started screaming. I quickly turned around and she wasn't there anymore. There was another whole in the ground. Another trap? Are these some kind of tunnels? I run to the spot where she fallen but it's pitch black down there "SARAH!" I start yelling.

"ALEX HELP ME PLEASE." Sarah says desperately "PLEASE ALEX PLEASE I DON'T WANNA BE ALONE."

"Guys I'm going down there." I prepare to jump but Robbie stops me "No we should call for help what if you can't get back up, we can't risk losing you too."

"ALEX PLEASE, PLEASE..." I look down again. "I don't care I can't leave her alone. Just... you guys go look for help, I'll be fine I will give you a call if I need help."

I don't even wait for their response and just jump down into the darkness...

"Dayumn Alex." I grin "That's impressive. Bet you thought he was heroic and all?" I poke Sarah with my elbow and wink "Sh-shut up." She looks down in embarrassment and I chuckle.
