The girls's eyes widened. Misty clenched her hands and Leaf's jaw slackened. It was as if time had frozen, stopping the whole scenario taking place.
However May unable to take up the undesirable surprise, shouted,
"How on the devil are we supposed to be fine with that?!"
"Well, I don't have a say in it. This is planned by the dorms management team ofcourse, you'll have to speak to them if you don't want to stay under the same roof" she replied as if ignoring the brunette's outburst.
"But... You know, we can't possibly be sharing our dorms with BOYS" Leaf said air quoting the boys.
"Well, the students over here have their dorm alloted according to their ranks... I hope it's understandable. If you guys encounter any discomfort, we may consider the change in your dorms"
" Who assumed we're comfortable now exactly?" Leaf thought scoffing to herself.
"I hope you guys get along and use this place as a stepping stone for your success!" Mrs. Gresham said cheerfully.
"If you don't have any more doubts, I'll call the student representative of the instrumental section to take you to the dorms"
The girls looked at each other with hesitation in their eyes and then nodded to her. The boys did the same.
"Great! Hope you enjoy your college year!".
The students bowed and went to the waiting hall. It was a spacious room with bookshelves at the left and four tables with chairs surrounding them in the middle. The girls each took a seat on the table that was the furthest from the other tables.
"I assume they hate boys" Ash whispered to Gary.
"Oh! You've realize that NOW, you're improvising your obliviousness Ashy boy!" Gary scoffed as he sat on one of the chairs.
"There's no time for such bickering... But, don't you think they look a bit familiar?" Drew whispered as he eyed the doggy ear styled brunette.
"Yeah, I feel similarities too... But how on the world, would it be them?!" Paul asked in disbelief. Although there might be chances, there was no way his blue haired girlfriend lost all her chubbiness he loved. She had promised to be the same after all...
"How about asking them then? He-Man" Ash was smacked on the table, by Gary who was done with his stupidity.
"Dude, are you for real? For all the imaginative skills you have... You decide to ask them?" He asked in disbelief.
"Why not?"
"Two reasons. One, they might not be the girls whom we're thinking at all.
Two, do you even think they'll breathe near us after we ask them?"
Ash nodded in silence and slumped on his chair. He knew it was his fault that he let go... But in no way he would be admitting that. Stubborness had always been the worst trait of his.
"Let's just behave as normal students shall we? We decided to let go of the past. Even if it were them, we've got to move on... We're here for a completely different goal!" Paul said with determination.
The boys nodded. They've got to achieve their goal first.
Meanwhile it was not to chaotic at the girls side...
"I can't believe that THEY! Out of all the people in this whole freakishly wide world are here! C'mon! Why them?!?" May whisper shouted in frustration.
"Calm down.... Even if it's them, why does it even bother you? Let's just let go of the past" Misty said with an 'I don't care' face.
"How could you be so calm Mist? Out of the four of us, you were humiliated the most! Don't you think they don't deserve to be near you?" Leaf, who was also in rampage mode questioned her.
"Well, it's not about the past right now, to have a bright future and see what we've always dreamt of, we have to clear up all the negativity around us. Only clearing up dust will give us a bright window!" Misty said as she looked at the three. Her cerulean eyes were brimming with confidence that gave energy to the other three.
The girls nodded to each other. There was no way they would give up their goals.
The door opened to reveal the headmistress along with two students, a lemon blonde boy and a honey blonde girl.
On seeing them, Misty's eyes widened.
