The Fate That Ties Us Together

Sleep soundly

"Dude, I've got to say..... I'm really jealous of you...." Gary said rubbing now red his forehead, a result of his and Ash's brawl while listening to what Paul had in store for them.

"Well, it's our mistake that we let go of them.... What to do... Distance really makes the heart go fonder towards people" Drew said as he brought an ice pack for Gary.

"What should we do now? I mean, the girls would have figured out by now that we recognise them... We can't even make a peaceful conversation if we want to ! With all what we did, they'll definitely turn a blind eye on us!"

"Oh shit.... I never thought of that.... Paul will help... Right?" Gary turned only to face the ice cold eyed man having an indifferent look on his face.

"Go use your own brains to do that"

"Dude!"

"That guy..... He better treat you well"

"Doesn't this mean all the boys recognise us and they're just acting?"

"Doesn't matter anyway, it's not like we're going to talk with them"

"True true"

"By the way, it's almost night, let's get going to sleep!"

"Wait, I think I forgot something"

"Does this have to do something with your supplements?"

"Oh shit yeah! I'll get them, and we'll all go to sleep at the same time okay?"

"Fine May go get it soon!"

May was going through the cupboards searching her supplement bottles which was accidentally misplaced by her.

"Where the hell did I even keep it?! Stupid supplement bottle"

"Well, it's not the bottle that's stupid February"

Oh how much she hated the voice now which was one she used to love

The boys had already gone to sleep and it was all lights out after Paul decided not to interfere with their love lives.

Suddenly Drew felt all too lonely as he closed the door of his room. It was a familiar feeling. Something that he was used to after he had left her without any explanations.

Sighing as there was nothing he could do now, he immediately went to have a glass of water and sleeping pills. Which was the only thing that could make him sleep.

He walked through the hallways and went inside the kitchen only to see a brown haired female, especially his ex lover whom he still loved the most rummaging through the cupboards for something muttering to herself.

"Stupid supplement bottle" he heard her say

She still takes that?

With an amused smile, he watched her as he had already seen where the bottle was.

"It's not the bottle that is stupid February" he couldn't help but say that.

For some reason, he felt a warm feeling in his heart. There was a small rush of adrenaline and giddiness. As cliché as it sounded, yes, he was actually feeling the love emotion coming back to him.

"What the hell do you want?"

Although his heart clenched he maintained a cool facade and took long strides towards her and trapped her against the counter.

"You know what I want" he said looking into her deep brown eyes intensely

May couldn't help but let her heart skip a beat. True, it was someone who had given the feeling of love and then resentment towards him but still, they had parted without any closure.

"Well, I don't know, but I actually don't talk with people who cut off their ties abruptly and then come again talking cooly"

Drew faltered. Ofcourse this had to happen at some point of time.

"I....."

"Save it. If you didn't want to be associated with me, and told be about  it directly,, I would've have gladly  accepted the heartbreak. But I had to hear that from Brianna out of all the people"

"Brianna?"

The one who stupidly followed him despite he hadn't shown any interest towards her?

How did she even know about it?

As Drew was pondering about those thoughts, May pushed him aside and continued to search for her supplement.

Silently Drew took the bottle from the place she had previously been searching and pressed it into her palm and walked away.

May gaped.

She was stupid afterall.

Drew walked back to his room and closed it shut.

Although there were secrets yet to be unraveled and mysteries to be solved, talking with the person who made his heart beat wildly made him sleep well without his sleeping pills.

Even if there was no romance, he could still get used to it and get things together again. He was sure about it and slept soundly
