Sometimes two people need to fall apart to realize how much they need to fall back to get together

Misty's eyes widened as she saw who were sitting along with the headmistress in front of them. However, the boys seemed to be oblivious to her shocked expression.
Misty turned and looked at her friends. They seemed to acknowledge it too.
"Well, hello there! I assume you're new students too.
"We-Well, yes, please excuse us for the sudden interruption. We will wait unti-"
"Oh, no need to, these boys are first years too. You need to know new people to have a friendly atmosphere!" She said in a cheerful voice.
"Friendly atmosphere indeed" Leaf thought as they all took a seat on the other side facing opposite to the boys and Mrs. Gresham to their right.
"Well, please fill out these forms for your registration, while in the mean time, I'll complete my instructions to these students"
The girls were handed the forms, Dawn, who was the only one without any heartbreak, had a calm expression while the others had mixed emotions.
"Honestly, have we changed THAT much for not to be recognised?!, More likely, that jerk would've forgotten who I am. Who knows how many girls he has had these years" May ranted in her head and she filled out her form furiously.
"I'm surprised that obnoxious porcupine hasn't made a move on anyone yet... Or maybe he'll be trying to seduce later..." Leaf scoffed to herself.
"Alright Mist... Past is in the past, if he doesn't recognise you it's fine, you've got nothing to do with him, treat him like how you'd treat an unknown student"
Mrs. Gresham turned to the boys to continue what she was taking.
"As I was saying earlier, you boys will be sharing the dorms according to the ranks you have placed. And since the four of you have got top ranks, you'll be sharing a part of Melodic Arts elite quarters"
The girls, who had been partially listening were surprised. For the boys they knew except Paul were not that good in literary and the college was purely related to the entertainment field.
"Oh, and you'll be sharing your dorms with some girls too"
On hearing those words, the boys eyes widened. The black haired boy, Ash was about to fall over his seat.
"But, don't you think it's inappropriate?" A brown spiky haired boy asked.
"Gary is right, it would be uncomfortable" the green haired male, Drew said crossing his arms.
"Well, it's normal in here to have both genders staying under the same roof, Plus, each of you have your own rooms and everything is separate for both the gender except the kitchen, storeroom and the balcony" Mrs. Gresham replied as if it was nothing new.
"Looks like we don't have a choice..." Ash said in an uncomfortable way.
In the mean time, the girls had filled out their forms and handed them to the headmistress. Seeing their names on the top, she smiled.
"Well, look who we have here! These girls are the exact people whom you'll be sharing your room with!!!"
The boys finally looked at the girls whom seemed to be familiar to them, while the girls had a frozen look upon their faces.
