Lara's pov
"30 minutes Lara, you almost ready?" My mom yelled up the stairs. "Yea just saying my goodbyes" I yelled back. "I really am gonna miss you" said Lizz (my best friend since kindergarten) I tried holding in my tears and being strong but I couldn't because at that moment I just remembered everything we have been through and done.
**flashback**
"RUNNN!!" lizz yelled I immediately hopped up and looked at my surroundings I saw lizz running and without thinking I moved my legs as fast as I possibly could. I was running for a couple of minutes and then suddenly heard laughing so I stopped and turned around and saw lizz laughing. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!" I yelled I got no response except for a laugh that just continued "I'm so sorry!" Lizz laughed while trying to spit out her words. I stared at her with my "confuzzled face" thats what lizz calls my facial expression when I'm confused, "lizz is everything ok?!" I asked "me? Yes. You? Well I don't know, but let's just say we got you good" she says while slightly laughing. "We?" I ask looking around to spot other people. "Yup. Ok you guys can come out now!" She yells and then I just see people popping out of the bushes. All I can hear is lots of laughing and I suddenly faint.
**Back to present **
" you ok?" Lizz asked with a confuzzled face. "Uh yea, yea I'm fine. It's just I'm really gonna miss this place and the people in it" I said with a tear dropping down my face. "Don't worry we will make plans to visit each other." Lizz said trying to cheer me up, but it wasn't exactly working. " honey it's time to go!" My mom yells up the stairs. " ok I-I guess this is it" I pulled lizz into a tight hug that felt like it lasted forever. "Hang in there you will be fine" she said hugging me tighter. We head down stairs and I get In the car. I had remembered to a time when my family was about to leave town to visit family but the only problem was that we all did not want to see them so my mom uses a technique she likes to call "moving sickness". "Mom I don't feel good I think we should wait and I should lay down on my bed and rest" I said crossing my arms around my stomach. "No, no, no, missy don't even try and play the moving sickness card on me" my mom said. " I don't understand why we even have to move to California I mean can't dad just get a job here?" I said while shrugging my shoulders. "Sweetheart your father will be making a lot of money if we move to California and you can have a wonderful life by the beach and party and maybe even Meet boyssss" my mother said while winking. "Moooooommmm stoooppp" I said embarrassed. "What? I have heard there are some pretty hot babes down in cali" my mom says smiling.
