Chapter Five: The Kiss

Lara's POV

***Flashback*** 

"stop! please! no! Don't touch me" I screamed crying as he forced my clothes off. He forced himself onto me as I begged him not to and all I could do was sit and cry when all of the sudden I heard the door open and could barely see a tall manly figure "Please help m-"

***Present***

That whole image kept replaying in my head and my thoughts were cut off by Liz slamming my door open as I sat in my bed with my head on my knees crying as much as I could. "Oh my god there you are. Are you ok? Is it what I think it is?" Liz questioned me while holding me and trying to comfort me."Yes, I don't know why but I kept seeing it over and over again and of course at the wrong time. Me and Gray were about to kiss and then I saw it and I ran away and I feel so bad because he probably thinks I hate him or he did something and i'm so sorry I just left him there with no explanation." I struggled getting out because i was crying and out of breath. "I don't think I am the person you should be apologizing to." Liz said handing me my phone " You're right thank you but what if he hates me or something now?" I replied with a worried face"Trust me he doesn't" I grabbed my phone from her and texted Gray

ME: Hey..Can you come over?

Gray: I'm already outside I wanted to talk to you..

I ran downstairs and opened the door to see Gray standing there with his head down "Hey..Come in" I put out a hand to lead him inside "Um my room is probably best" We walked to my room and I sat on the bed and patted next to me letting him know to sit. "I just want you to listen for a minute" Grayson nodded telling me to continue "Look i'm really sorry for just running out yesterday without any explanation or anything, Look a couple years ago something happened and when we were about toooo I got a flashback of it and then I broke down and I just wanted to let you know you didn't do anything wrong and nothing was your fault it was mine and I should have said something and now i'm really hoping I didn't blow my chances because I really kinda lik-" I was cut off with Graysons lips crashing against mine then I was realized what had happened and our lips were moving in sync I could feel him smiling in between the kiss. "Thank you" I said with my forehead rested on his "For what?" He stared at my hands holding them "Caring and being here for me" I said with a tear falling down my cheek. "I will always be here and care for you" Gray said wiping my tear with his thumb and kissing me again "Froyo?" I said smiling and breaking from the kiss " Definitely" We headed out the house holding hands only to see Ethan and liz making out. " ok we are gonna get froyo meet you there..or not" I said laughing trying to get their attention. They broke from the kiss and looked at me and Gray holding hands laughing nervously"so froyo" Eth said "Lets go" Liz added. We all hopped in the car, Gray was driving and i was in the passengers seat while he was holding my hand.
