"Why were you crying earlier?" Beatris, in my Saturn Sky. I'm not yet talking about what happened to me at the cafe earlier, not even a single word at all. I didn't answer her and just let silence sits comfortably between us two.

The longer it takes, the more I feel and hear all the unsaid words of hers and mine, together, lingering like the scent of thousand roses as we drive. Beatris is sound asleep right now. It's almost night because the sun is already setting. I check my phone and the time is 5:43 pm. Instead of dropping her off at her apartment, I drive on the way to Miami, Florida.

I pull over in front of Anchor Motel after an hour drive from Brooklyn, New York. I tap Beatris' shoulder to wake her up and she slowly opens her eyes, revealing to me how surprised she is to know that she's somewhere else she doesn't know. Let alone, with me.
