Tuesday
"Han, how's your grandmother? Is she getting better?" I asked Hannah, as I placed my bag at my chair and sat next to her.
"Yeah, she's okay. She got out of the hospital yesterday. Thanks for asking." She smiled. "Teka, ba't dito ka umupo?"
I raised my eyebrow; feeling confused and asked "I always sit here during Math class."
"What?" She said. "May permanent seating arrangements na tayo for the whole semester."
"Huh? Since when?"
"Yesterday."
"I wasn't here yesterday."
"Oo nga pala. I forgot" then she laughed.
"So, where will I be sitting?" I asked, looking at the vacant chairs.
"I think you should ask Daphne. Ma'am Yu gave her the seat plan yesterday." She pointed Daphne who was sitting at the front row, reading a tagalog pocket book, a Precious Hearts Romance pocketbook to be exact.
I came closer to her and poked her shoulder. She looked up and smiled. "Hi Sophie."
"Hi Daphne, what are you reading?" I asked, and sat next to her.
"Oh nothing, just a pocketbook as usual." She answered.
"That's nice." I smiled. "Um. I was wondering where I would be sitting since Ma'am Yu already gave us a permanent seating arrangment."
"Ay oo nga pala. Muntikan kong makalimutan. Siguro dahil sa kacoconcentrate ko dito sa pocketbook na to." She giggled, then took out a sheet of paper from her bag and gave it to me.
2nd Row
Armin Bierneza - Grace Obeal
Rican Acedo - Charlene Flores
Gabriel Pineda - Penelope Sollano
Levi Stinson - Sophie Eriksen
Vladymr Manguilimutan - Rohkhairin Gonzales.
My eyebrows met when I saw the name Levi Stinson. "Wait, sino si Levi Stinson?" I asked.
"Siya si Levi."
I turned around and looked at who Daphne was pointing.
A tall, dark haired, mysterious looking guy entered the room. He looked around and spotted me looking at him. Then he gave out an evil smirk and went to the second row and sat down.
Some of my girl classmates started to shriek.
"Ohmygee, nakita mo yun? Nag smirk sya ky Sophie! Sana ako nlang."
"Oo nga. Ayee. Ang pogi nya talaga!"
"Yeah, atleast ngayon nag smirk na sya, eh kahapon poker face lang talaga sya buong subject."
"He's so mysterious. Gosh. Nakakaintriga."
I rolled my eyes. Ohmygod girls. Get a grip of yourselves.
"Ba't parang kinikilig yung mga classmates natin sa kanya?" I asked Daphne.
"That's the Levi effect." I turned around and saw Ayesha Grande.
