Wrong Timing (On-going)

Chapter Four

He lean more closer then whispered "Pwde ba kitang halikan?"

I gulped.

Oh shit. What am I going to say?

I started panicking.

Breathe Sophie. Breathe.

Oh no, I might end up hyperventilating.

Shit shit shit shit.

And to think that being a volleyball captain in a university, I've already encountered way more worse scenarios than this one..

I've played against really strong, powerful, huge and scary looking girls,

got bruises and got beaten up during games,

And a guy asking to kiss me, scares the hell out of me?

Then he started laughing. 

I raised my eyebrow.

"Akala mo ba talaga na hahalikan kita? You should've seen the look on your face! Priceless!" He said.

Whaaaaaat?

"Urgh! My gosh! You had the nerves to pull a prank on me. I should've known better." 

I could see the main gate of our village, so I started walking away from him and towards our village.

"Sophie wait." He said.

"Uy, Sophie wait lang. Joke lang yun. Sophie!" He grabbed my arm.

"What?!" I said, starting to get annoyed.

He pulled me close and wrapped his arms around me.

I didn't know how to respond to that, so I just stood there unable to move, still at state of shock.

"Sorry na." he whispered.

Suddenly, he planted a kiss on my forehead, and then hugged me more tightly.

My eyes widened.

Wait, what just happened?

Friday

"Sophie?"

"Huh? What?"

"Kanina ka pa sa school nakatunganga. Okay ka lang ba?" Claire asked.

It was two days after the "incident" and I still haven't seen Adam at school, not even the slightest shadow. When I'm going to see Adam, I'm going to punch him on the face.

"Yes, uh, I'm okay. There's alot of things going up in my head lately." I answered.

"Sure? It looks like something is bothering you."

I sighed.

"Huy, ano ba, okay ka lang?" She asked again, touching my shoulder.

I stared at her and she looks concerned.

"Just drop it." I said, and then looked away.

"Saan ba tayo mag lulunch?" Rose asked.

We were at the mall that day. Every friday, we only have morning classes. I don't know why but it's like a school policy.

It was an unplanned shopping because Rose and Claire wants to buy a gown for our Acquaintance Party. We already went to 7 different stores but they still haven't chosen a dress to buy yet, because they still can't make up their minds and because they're so choosy. They said they want to look fab.
