There she laid, under a tree where the grass don't grow. Her hair sprawled across the ground like like a splatter of paint. She opened her eyes slowly and calmly. Madison noticed the tree and immediately sat up. She surveyed the area, noticing the waterfall right in front of her. She stood upright and made way towards it, dipping her feet into the crisp cool water.
"I have no clue where i am" She smiled at the sight of fish "But i feel like i could grow on this."
She sat down along the side and swished her feet back and forth through the water. Madison began to feel calm and relaxed as the fish felt like gentle kisses along her feet. The only sound that could be heard was the splashing of the waterfall.
"This...this is the life" Madison grinned and laid along the grass.
Her peaceful relaxation was soon bursted as there was a loud scream in the distance. Curiosity struck her as she stood up and made way towards the loud nonsense. She picked flowers as she went, placing them all along her hair. She looked off into an open field where she's seen a familiar face.
"Is that...Gil?" she asked as she brushed her hair back.
Gil starred at the ground in horror as though he saw a ghost. His body phased in and out of existence for a split second and he sat in fear.
"W-whats happening" He phased out once more, then back again.
Madison watched him from a distance and her jaw dropped once he phased.
"GIL!?" she yelled out to him.
Gil heard Madison and stood up, looking around for her frantically. "M-Madi??"
Madison waved her hands high and Gil soon enough noticed her. He began running, phasing in and out every few seconds. He finally arrived to Madison, phasing down onto his knees. He looked up at her with nothing but fear in his eyes.
"M-MADISON YOU HAVE TO HELP ME."
Tears filled his eyes before he disappeared. He stared up at Madison still, this time only seeing her in a dark shade of blue. He came back seconds after and Madison lifted him up.
"What happened Gil?" she asked having her arm on his shoulder.
He stopped phasing and stood shaking.
"I-i woke up in that field and all of a sudden id just disappear from existence..." His voice faded a bit "like i was a ghost and i didn't know what was happening to me."
Madison nodded and let go of Gil's shoulder. Gil no longer phased as he stood, looking around.
"Gil just stick with me alright?" Madison comforted him by saying.
Gil nodded and the two headed back to the waterfall. Gil sat on a rock looking down at the water and Madison sat in her same spot. The two sat in silence and listened to the crashing waters of the waterfall. Gil looked at himself and smiled.
"I think it worn off" he states with assurance.
Madison nodded and fell asleep by the water, Gil still watching the waters. He kicked some rocks down into the water and giggled to himself as the fish scattered in the water.
After a few minutes, Rona and Holly arrived where the two sat. The two noticed Gil and called out to him.
"Hey Gil!" they both said simultaneously.
Gil jumped and fell onto the water, the girls laughing at him. He then phased out of it and reappeared beside the sleeping Madison.
"Dont ever scare me again like that" He laughed and rubbed his side.
The two stared at Gil as he just reappeared out of thin air.
"Well shit..." Holly watched amazed.
Gil rolled his eyes and pointed down at Madison.
"She's been knocked out for a while now. I've chilled her just keeping an eye out for any threats."
Rona nodded and knelt down, shaking Madison awake. She woke up just after and sat up. Rona placed Butterscotch gently down on the ground just beside her.
"Madison i need your help...I need you t-"
Rona was interrupted by a loud howl. A pack of wolf like creatures surrounded the four. Each of them having different colored eyes. The Alpha of the pack stood tall and stared directed at Gil, its eyes a flaming red. The next one to the left of it stared at Rona and Madison, this one having eyes as blue as ice. The final one had a keen eye on Holly, eyes as yellow as lightning. The three monsters crept closer and closer.
"Hold her close...please" Rona stared into Madison's eyes to show she was serious. Madison nodded and pulled butterscotch into her grasp.
Rona grabbed the machete and looked at holly. Hesitating, she handed it over to her and Holly grasped it, entering her blood rush. One wolf dashed forward at Holly, leaving a trail of lightning in its path. With swift movement, the wolf jumped at her, jaw open and ready to clasp on her face. Holly easily grabbed the beast by its neck and jabbed her machete straight through its chest. It whimpered in pain as she dug it deeper. It finally fell silent and lifeless in her arms.
The next wolf glared upon Rona, Madison and Butterscotch. It's saliva dripped down into the grass, instantly freezing it. It lunged forward quickly, sliding along the ground as though it wore ice skates. Butterscotch noticed the wolf and her bell chimed. A large burst of energy sent the wolf flying up high into the sky.
"Damn.." Rona was left astonished.
Finally, the alpha wolf headed towards Gil, its paws setting the grass beneath it aflame. It then jumped the same as the last wolf, aiming for an easy bite. Just its teeth came in contact with his neck, Gil phased out, leaving the Wolf to fall. It searched frantically for him, lava dripping out of its mouth. Gil reappeared moments after right on the wolf's back. He clasped its neck and snapped it with a quick twist.
"Gil! Quick..take the machete from Holly!" Rona shouted.
Gil peered at Holly as she repeatedly stabbed the corpses. He nods and phases beside her, punching her hand with force. The machete fell down into the patch of grass beneath them. Holly's eyes turned back to normal and she looked down at the corpses. She held her mouth before throwing up down onto them, Gil quickly grabbing the blade and disappearing before any of it splashed onto him.
Gil handed the blade back to Rona as she placed it in her belt.
"That is an awful weapon" Gil laughed and sat back down on the rock he was at before.
Rona nodded and looked back at Madison with Butterscotch.
"All good now baby?" Rona asked as butterscotch rose from Madison's arms and began running around in a small circle. Rona smiled and looked back at Madison.
"Thank you..."
"For what?" Madison asked curiously
"For healing up my little Butterscotch"
Madison laid there confused and then asked the question.
"What do you mean...healed?"
"Well i had a vision...a vision of you. You see i had the vision when my poor love got hurt so i figured you could help."
"By holding her?"
"By touch Madi. You have the ability to heal any wound just by touch."
Gil's eyes widened as he sat up, excited.
"That's why i stopped phasing uncontrollably...you touched my shoulder and it all stopped.."
Rona nodded.
"And you healed my baby's broken leg"
Madison looked at her hands curiously and sat upward, Butterscotch rubbing her head lightly on her waist.
"So you mean to tell me...i'm some sort of...healer or something?" she asked, looking back at Rona.
She nodded and smiled.
"Just what we need."
Holly came back over after a few moments of crying and throwing up.
"C-can..we just get out of here?"
Gil laughed and everyone nodded. Rona and Madison stood up from the ground and butterscotch jumped around beside Rona's feet in excitement.
"Where should we go Rona?" Gil asked curiously.
Just as Gil asked, Rona had a vision of a Multi-Elemental Dragon attacking a castle. She noticed a bunch of other Monsters rushing towards the castle on the ground. Rona, coming back into her senses, gasped and shook. She sensed a great battle ahead.
