Bad luck?

Theo suggested that we spend the whole day on the beach. I obviously didn't object. The only thing is that we didn't expect people to be there other than us and the Mikaelsons. I guess that's okay.

We walked hand in hand along the shore. It seems really romantic, but it wasn't when a girl walked passed us. She was way prettier than me and Theo actually looked at her as she walked by. She looked at him and blushed.

I let go of Theo's hand and crossed my arms in front of my chest

I let go of Theo's hand and crossed my arms in front of my chest. Theo looked at me with a worried look, but I ignored it. I just kept walking.

"What's wrong?" Theo asked

"What's wrong?" Theo asked.

"Uh, nothing," I lied.

"Seriously. What's wrong, Chrissie?"

"Just stop. Nothing is wrong."

"I know when something is wrong with you. Your eyes have a sort of sadness in them."

"You wanna know what's wrong?"

"Uh, yeah."

"You were totally checking out that girl. She was checking you out too. I'm not blind, Theo. Look, I know I'm all ugly with these burns and scars on me from being kidnapped, but you don't have to go looking at other girls."

"I wasn't checking her out."

"Yes, you were. If the next sentence that comes out of your mouth is a lie, I will seriously go up to that girl and punch her."

"Woah, woah. Calm down. I don't like her."

I sprinted ahead of Theo and bumped into someone. I fell on top of the person I bumped into and looked at him. I couldn't believe it. It was Nathan Fuller from the plane. He smiled at me and we got up.

"We have got to stop bumping into each other like this," he said as he helped me up.

"I don't mind it," I said with a smile.

"Well, that's because you're not the one getting crushed," he laughed.

Theo came up behind me and put an arm around my waist protectively. I pushed it off and started talking to Nathan.

"You complain about me hitting on girls, but he was totally checking you out!" Theo yelled as we went to our room.

"No, he wasn't. He has a girlfriend. Nathan already told us that."

"It seems like he wither lied or is trying to cheat on her."

"I don't care if he was hitting on me. At least he didn't check out other girls right in front of me like you did!"

"I didn't even check her out!"

"I know you did! Do you know how unwanted and hurt that makes me feel?"

Tears filled my eyes and started to drop. I wiped them off and sat down on the bed. Theo sat next to me hugged me.

"I didn't know you felt that way," he whispered.

"Well, now you know. I love you, Theo. I can't be getting hurt by the people I love. That happened to me with Stiles a couple times and you were even involved in that. Please don't make history repeat itself."

"I'm sorry. Look, I...did check her out. I'm so sorry. I didn't think you'd notice and she was just looking at me with a look and...I don't know. It just attracted my attention."

"How could you do that? You want Mr to go on a vacation with you and you look at other girls? It would've been better for you to just do it behind my back. At least I wouldn't be as hurt. You know what? Can I just leave? I want to go back home," I said.

"Chrissie...please," he said.

"Just let me go. This was a mistake."

I grabbed my suitcase and brought it to the door. Hayley asked me what was wrong and I told her everything.

"I'm so sorry. If you want, I could book you the next flight back to Beacon Hills," she said.

"That would be great. Thanks. I'm going to call a friend and have him pick me up in Beacon Hills."

"Okay. I'll go get that ticket for you."

Hayley left and I walked outside. I sat down on the front steps of the beach house and stared out at the water. It was beautiful the way it gleamed in the sun's light. Too bad Theo kind of ruined it for us. I could've enjoyed it more with him. After a couple minutes, Hayley said I could make a flight that is leaving in an hour. I got into a cab quickly and thanked her. She waved goodbye to me as the cab drove away.

At the airport, I had to wait for the plane. Hayley had gotten me a first class ticket, so I went into the same place as last time when we were supposed to board the plane. I sat down alone for the whole plane ride and cried myself asleep once. I miss Theo already.

When the plane landed in Beacon Hills, everyone got off the plane. I grabbed my suitcase and left outside. I saw the familiar blue jeep and smiled. Yes, I called Stiles to pick me up. He's the only one I can count on no matter what, well besides Theo. I guess I can't count on him now, though. Stiles got out of the jeep and ran to me. He embraced me in a hug and looked at my face.

"Have you been crying?" He asked. I nodded and we went into the jeep.

"It was Theo. We were walking on the beach and he checked out this girl. It hurt my feelings and we argued about it. I just needed to get away from there," I explained.

"Oh, Chrissie. I don't even know what to say."

"You don't have to say anything at all. I just want to go home and eat some ice cream while I watch tv."

"Need a friend to join you?"

"Always."

"I'll sleep over."

"Okay."

~

When we got to my house, Stiles parked the jeep. We got out and went inside the house. Everyone was sleeping already, so we quietly went into the kitchen and grabbed the ice cream. Then, we went to the living room and put a movie on quietly.

Both of us ate from the tub of ice cream with one spoon. I fed Stiles some of the ice cream and laughed when he put some on my nose. I wiped it off and he put some more. Then, I grabbed some and put it on his cheek. He tried to lick it off and failed.

"I like when we're like this," he said.

"I do too. I really missed it."

"Well, I really missed you."
