The Trap

A couple hours later, Freya had the trap set. The kanima would just have to be led to a certain spot and a spell would keep it in a circle.

"Who's going to be the bait?" Kol asked.

"I will," I said.

"No, Chrissie. You could get killed," Stiles said.

"I have to do this, Stiles. All my life, we got into trouble together and avoided getting hurt. I won't get hurt this time."

"It's settled, then? Chrissie is the bait," Kol asked. I nodded.

The plan to protect me is that Stefan and Rebekah will stay close by. If the kanima gets too close, they will help me. Kol's girlfriend, Davina, is going to help Freya make a cure for the venom in the kanima's tail that renders people paralyzed. Hayley and Elijah are going to help get Carter back after they find out where he is. Klaus is going to stay with Hope.

"What can I do?" Stiles asked.

"You can help me and Elijah, Stiles. We'll keep you safe. I'm pretty sure Chrissie would kill us if something happened to you," Hayley said.

"That's true," I said.

Freya put a spell that led the kanima to me. We are in an abandoned house. The kanima is in front of me. I can see its green scales. It looks like a human lizard to me. My hands start to shake as I back away from it. Chrissie, you can't be scared. You need to protect your friends. This will trap the kanima so it can't hurt anyone.

The kanima follows me and it is almost in the circle, when it jumps at me. I fall to the ground as it jumps on top of me. Stefan and Rebekah try to get me, but the spell blocks them. I'm trapped inside with the kanima.

"Don't worry, Chrissie. Freya put a spell that would block the kanima from transforming. It'll turn human any second now," Stefan said.

He was right. The green scales started fading away and the kanima's eyes changed color. In front of me was a teenage boy I had never seen before. He had a light hair and I just noticed that he's naked. I take my leather jacket off and put it around him.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"You don't remember what happened?" I asked him.

"No. Why am I here? Who are you?"

"I'm Chrissie Williams. That is Stefan and there's Rebekah," I said as I pointed to each of them.

"I'm Theo Raeken."

Rebekah called Klaus and told him what happened. Davina and Freya made the cure and are coming to do a spell to see who's controlling Theo. Kanimas usually have a master and the master makes them do whatever they want. If Theo was trying to attack Hope, the master had to be someone with a grudge against the Mikaelsons. That could be a lot of people, but Freya has a spell that can show us where the master is because of the link he/she has to Theo.

Right now, I'm just stuck in this circle with him. Imagine being stuck in a small space with a complete stranger who is naked. The only good things about this is that I have my clothes on and Theo is a little bit cute. I'm not supposed to think that, but he is. It's not like I'd cheat on Stiles. I love Stiles with all my heart and I will continue to love and be loyal to him.

When Freya and Davina came, they started a spell that would keep Theo from changing into a kanima and let him be free from this circle. After the spell was done, I helped Theo stand up. We walked out of the circle and the witches started working on the spell that we need to find the master. They took a little bit of Theo's blood and put it on a map. The master is by the Mikaelson's mansion. I think he's trying to kill Hope.
