Donna, the Executive Vice President of the site gave me a cup of coffee while we are in a cafe discussing the finances for my department.
"Well, it feels that way," I said taking a sip.

New intern? I thought there can only be one intern per department? "For real?" I can not believe what Donna told me.

"Yup, based on the update, says here you'll be getting a new one aside from Baron."
Okay, it's cool. "Who is the new intern?" Was my question to Donna. She looked at the email again with using her tablet.
"There's no detail about it as of the moment, the only thing that was mentioned in the email, is that you will meet your new intern on Monday."

"Okay." I just reply to her. I have to focus on the papers because I need to pass this by Sunday. After all, I will meet the new intern on Monday.

It's about 4:29 PM when Donna and I finished our papers. Before we left the cafe Donna received a new email update from the company.
"Oh," Donna says, she read the news and she was happy. "Why, what's the news?"
"Check your email, I send it to you right away." Said, Donna, while taking a sip of coffee.

I quickly took my phone and checked email from Donna. "Jenny will be part of the Board of Trustees?"
"Yes, that is correct. Apparently, the project that you made with her has amused the other members of the board and has let her join."
I enjoyed what I read. "Well, I need to go to Jenny, she owes me one, I'll go ahead with you Donna, see you at the office!"
I bid farewell to Donna before going to Jenny to congratulate her on her promotion.
It's good to hear that your former manager will become part of the Board of Trustees. What an exceptional woman. Not all of those in the Board of Trustees come from the lowest rank of employees. I'm happy for Jenny, she deserves to be there.
