I woke up and stretched out in my bed. I looked out the window onto the city, and looked down at all the capitol people rushing to a TV set. Today I entered the arena.
I could barely eat breakfast, the food just stuck in my throat. but, since I didn't know when I would be eating next, I tried to eat as much as possible. I ended up just feeling worse.
"Are you okay Riley?" Ardonia asked as I trudged off to get ready.
"Yeah. Just the thought of how I could be dead tomorrow isn't that great."
I got dressed and sat down and waited. I waited and waited. Then, in came Ardonia.
"Let's rock and roll," she said grimly.
