Sunshine at Bhangarh Fort [COMPLETED]

5: The Fort

After having breakfast Zen introduced us with our guide Edward. Edward was his friend and a guy with hazel green
eyes.

Zee-> Wow..at last we're here.
The fort is so beautiful.

Edward-> It is. But it becomes that much scary at night.

Kath-> "Ancient Site Bhangarh. Protected by Indian government."

Kath read the board at the entrance.

Zee-> There's a notice over there..."Entering the fort before sunrise and after sunset is strictly prohibited"

Edward-> Yes right!

Just after entering the fort on the right hand side we saw a Hanuman temple.

Edward-> It's the only temple here with an idol inside it...other temples are empty.

After that we saw a map of the whole region.

Zee-> Many things to see.

Kath-> Hmm..

.......

Edward-> This is where around 2000 people used to live.

Kath-> 2000?!

Edward-> Yes!

Zee-> "Modo ki Haveli"

I read the board in front of a building.

Edward-> Its the only building which is still erect...as you can see others are all demolished. Lets go inside it.

Kath-> Hey what's this?

Edward-> Its a secret passage.

Zee-> It's so small and dirty. Where does it open to?

Edward-> No idea!

Edward-> This is the main Bazaar..or Johri Bazzar. Many shops here were two storied.

Kath-> "It's of one silver coin your highness!"

Zee-> What?!

Kath-> Huh?! N-no..again that blurry m-memory...

Edward-> It's the Mangla Devi temple.

Zee-> Beautiful Design!

Edward-> The idols from here are shifted to Jaipur Fort..and a same design's temple is made in Bikaner Fort.

Edward-> And here's the Keshav Rai Temple.

Zee-> It's with a simple design.

Kath-> But it's on larger area.

Edward-> Exactly!

.....

Edward-> There is the Gopinath Temple.

Zee-> So many temples are here.

Kath-> But none with idols.

Edward-> Hmm.

.....

Edward-> There goes the Rajya Sabha. Where during 16th century they used to have judgements...these black seats were for the courtiers and over there the King used to sit.

Edward-> Here, it is the Someshwar Temple.

Kath-> Wow..a lake beside it?!

Edward-> Yes..now also people take bath here.

Zee-> It's beautiful.

Edward-> And there you see..there during some occasions people used to have feasts...even now also it's done.

Someone-> It's feast time for you too.

Turning around we saw a lady of our age with brown skin and long beautiful black hair.

Edward-> Grace? What're you doing here?

Grace-> I'm here to take you back home for lunch.

Edward-> But I'm on work now, dear. How can I leave these special guests like this and go? Zen will be furious.

Grace-> Who asked you to leave our special guests? Bring them too. We'll have lunch together.

Edward-> Is that ok Zee and Kath? By the way she's my beloved wife Grace.

Zee-> Yes it is totally fine.

Kath-> Yeah we are hungry too.

Grace-> Great! Bring these special girls on Swanki.

Kath-> Swanki?

Edward-> Our horse....
Did you bring him here too?

Grace-> No..he brought me here.

After that we went to a nearby village on Swanki and Edward and Grace walking beside us, to have our lunch..it was so decided that we'll continue our tour after the lunch. Only the main palace was left to be toured.
