Sunshine at Bhangarh Fort [COMPLETED]

8: Maid Megha or......

We returned from the fort and now we were sitting in our room. I was staring at the flowers Zen had given me earlier that day.

Kath-> It was really a scary day.

Zee-> Sure it was...are you still scared?

I said still looking at the flowers.

Kath-> N-no I-I'm not sc-scared..........................Nice flowers, by the way!

Zee-> Just like him.

Kath-> WHAT?! That means Zen gave these to you.

Zee-> Yes..*blush* when I went out in the garden...

Kath-> Zee I need to talk to you.

Zee-> Yes?!

Kath-> You know after you went to the garden, Mr. Woodworth took my hand to examine..I don't know what did he see but he was sweating severely...when I asked him what was did he see, he simply ignored my question.

Zee-> Hmm..strange..why didn't you tell me earlier.

Kath-> Because you would've again said that I'm dreaming and Mr. Woodworth is having imaginations..and so on.

Zee-> O-okay okay..I'm sorry for not believing you guys earlier. But we've to solve this...need to talk to Mr. Woodworth.

Kath-> I'll go too.

Zee-> No....no...maybe he doesn't wants to say you what he saw...but maybe he'll tell me...so it's better if you stay back here.

I went downstairs and to the drawing room and there I found Mr. Woodworth sitting quietly on his couch and having a cup of tea..seemed like he was thinking about something.

Zee-> Good Evening Mr. Woodworth, umm w-where's Zen?!

Woodworth-> Huh?! Ohh Good Evening girl. Umm..Zen? Maybe he's in the garden addressing the gardeners...he really loves his garden and takes a good care of it..hahaha. But you're not here for asking me about him right?!

Zee-> Huh?!

Woodworth-> Sit here first.

Zee-> Yes actually I'm here to ask about Kath..I mean what did you see on her hand?

To this question of mine, he became serious and kept quite for a few minutes.

Woodworth-> I can tell you...but don't reveal the matter to Kath because her memory is still blurry.

While finding Zee a stupid maid carrying soup ran into Kath and she was full wet with the soup. Soon other servants and maids came running and helped her.

Others-> Megha don't you watch where you go?!

Megha-> I-I'm sorry! Let me clean you ma'am.

Kath went upstairs and cleaned herself,changed the clothes and then gave those dirty clothes to Megha for cleaning.

Megha-> I'm really sorry ma'am actually I am not fluent in these works.

Kath-> Then why the hell are you here?!

She started crying and said.

Megha-> Actually ma'am I'm the daughter-in-law of Mr. Woodworth, I'm the princess of this palace-

Kath-> Wait..wait..daughter-in-law?! T-that means Zen's wife?!

Megha-> Yes Zen's wife...but he's so cruel like his father...they just kept me as a maid and don't even give me any respect as a princess. They tortured me just because I'm dark skinned. And now I'm pregnant with Zen's baby..and he even denied that he's the father.

Kath-> Omg..but if it is so..then why did he even marry you?!

Megha-> Before queen Trisha died, it was her last wish that me and Zen get married. But both Prince Zen and King Jaser Woodworth opposed it. But since it was the last wish of the queen, they had to fulfill it. It was a secret marriage, no one knows about it except the three of us. Zen always wanted a fair looking girl as his princess.

Kath-> Omg..they're so cruel and racist. You should've complained this to the police.

Megha-> No one will believe me..they've destroyed all the proofs also.

Kath-> Then why did you tell me?

Megha-> Because I wanted someone to hear my sad story..I can't bear it anymore by myself...please don't tell anyone otherwise Zen will torture me again.

Saying this she went away crying.

Kath-> Are they so cruel and torturous? I'm tensed about Zee. But she may lie also...is she really not a maid Megha but Zen's wife....shall I tell Zee?! No..first I'll find how much true it is...

Downstairs..

Zee-> YOU MEAN SHE'S-

Woodworth-> Don't shout...shhh!

Zee-> Ohh sorry!

Woodworth-> Yes she's-

Kath-> ZEE?! Zee?! Where are you?!

Zee-> I'M HERE IN DRAWING ROOM.

Kath-> Ohh so here you are. What are you and Mr. Woodworth talking about?

Zee-> Huh?! I-I was telling him about our experience of today...So Mr. Woodworth...

I explained him everything what happened today.

Woodworth-> The Sadhu'll help you a lot and I'm glad that you started to believe in everything Zee, I knew it that you'll believe it. But you had an encounter with Ratnavati...are't you scared?!

Zee-> Yes I was very much scared at first but then....then a-a power..a strange power...I felt within me...I-I was not anymore afraid...it was really strange..I-I just can't express it.

Woodworth-> Hahaha..yes I know daughter..I know. Now you two must go and take some rest.

After having dinner in our rooms....

Kath-> Zee did you ask Mr. Woodworth-

Zee-> Tomorrow is my birthday Kath..I'm so happy!

Kath-> Yes I know...but did you-

Zee-> *yawn* Ohh I'm so tired right now...Good Night babe!

Kath-> But Zee?!

Zee-> Zzzzz.....Zzzzz...*snore*

Kath-> Huh?! She fell asleep so soon?! Ok I'll ask her tomorrow. I should also sleep now.

Zee-> *whisper* Thank God!
