14: The Expedition

I opened my eyes slowly when I felt sprinkling of water on me. I was still on the ground where I fell unconscious earlier. I saw Grace, Kath and Edward sitting beside me. I jumped up and shouted.

Zee-> Z-ZEN?! W-WHERE'S ZEN?!

Kath-> Zen is-

Grace-> WAIT ZEE YOU CAN'T GO INSIDE!

Edward-> You shouldn't go in.

I went inside Mr. Woodworth's palace though Kath, Grace and Edward tried to stop me.

Zee-> ZEN?! Z-ZEN?!

Servant-> You can't go inside. Strangers are not allowed!

Kath-> Zee come out!

Zee-> But I'm Zee. You all know me right?!

Another servant-> No we don't know you!

Grace-> Zee what are y-

Zee-> STOP YOUR NONSENSE! AND TELL ME WHERE'S ZEN?! I WANT TO MEET HIM.

I asked while holding his collar violently.

Servant-> King Zen is with his wife, queen Megha and can't meet strangers.

Edward-> Lets go out!

Saying this the servabt released my grip from his collars and threw us out. I became a statue.

Kath-> ZEE...ARE YOU FINE?!

Kath asked me while shaking me.

Zee-> NO...N-NO...H-HE WAS LYING..I-I KNOW HE WAS LYING...THIS CAN'T BE TRUE.

Kath-> But it's really true Zee!

I was out of my mind and I was crying it was hard for me to believe all that. Kath, Grace and Edward were trying to stop me. I sat on the ground and was still crying suddenly I saw a golden brown key lying on the ground. I recognized it at once, it was the key that Mr. Woodworth had given to Zen. I stopped crying and took the key, now I was in my full sense. I asked.

Zee-> Where's the Sadhu?!-

Sadhu-> I'm here! Its not a safe place to talk...lets return to the village and talk.

We all returned to the village. As we entered the village...I understood the wasn't quite well there...there was a total chaos going on. All were too much shocked to believe in Mr. Woodworth's sudden death...and everybody was upset and shocked with their new queen. Ignoring these all we went to Edward's house.

Sadhu-> Megha had captured the Woodworth palace. She's controlling everyone's mind-

Kath-> I think at some point she's right.

Zee-> What do you mean?!

I asked coldly.

Kath-> Yes after all she's really the princess of the palace and no one accepted her.

She explained us everything and every word of her increased my anger. Everyone was shocked except the Sadhu. I clenched my teeth and asked.

Zee-> Neither Mr. Woodworth was like that nor 'MY' Zen is like that. And what proof do you've, huh?! And do you even know last night at the park he proposed to me...b-but I-I wasn't able to answer him that time.

Kath-> H-He proposed to you?!

I nodded. Others were happy but Kath was shocked.

Kath-> A-actually yesterday when I was in our room, I heard something from downstairs...I rushed down and to the room from where the sound was coming. The room was closed I opened it slightly to reveal Mr. Woodworth and Megha.

*flashback*

Megha-> It's been four months dad since I'm pregnant with your son's baby. And none of you're accepting it?! *sob**sob*

Mr. Woodworth-> SHUT UP!! We'll never accept you and your damn to be born baby. Go and die with it.

*flashback ends*

Then he slapped her she was crying. After that I guess I became unconscious and I remember nothing.

Sadhu-> What you're saying is true but not completely. That time Megha was controlling Mr. Woodworth's mind to prove her fake story to you. Later after she was done with using him, she killed him. Zee, Zen is unmarried and is a virgin but I don't know till when he'll remain so. Megha is controlling not only his mind but also everyone else's mind inside the palace.

Now Kath was shocked with Grace and Edward.

Zee-> C-Can't you resist it Sadhu?!

Sadhu-> No...only true love can. If you love Zen truly and if he also loves you then Megha's magic will fail. You've to save him in order to save us all.

Zee-> But they're not allowing anyone to enter the palace.

Sadhu-> Disguise yourself then! You only have time until the sun sets. This is for you and Zen.

He gave me two chains.

Sadhu-> Wear this chain, and Megha's magic won't work on you. If Zen recognizes you, you'll understand that he truly loves you and is not under Megha's control, and as soon as he recognises you, make him wear the other chain so that he remains free from Megha's further magic.

I wore that chain and took blessings from the sadhu.

Zee-> Give me your blessings Sadhu. God give me power and courage. And guys give me your wishes.

Sadhu-> My blessings are always with you!

Grace-> Best of luck, Zee!

Grace said holding Edward's hands.

Edward-> Be careful!

He said pulling Grace closer to him.

Kath-> I'm going with you!

Zee-> NO WAY! You'll stay right here with them!

Kath-> But-

Zee-> Please Kath, for me?! Please stay with them! I don't want to give you trouble.

Kath-> Ok...but be careful dear....if you truely love him from the bottom of your heart...then say that to him before its too late...don't make a mistake like me and lose him to another girl.

I hugged her and she whispered a 'take care' and I went out on my expedition.
