18: The climax

I was too astonished to utter a single word......we just called a spirit...Zen's eyes were moist...after all it's his mother's soul......but he managed to say the words.

Zen-> M-mom...wh-y is Megha doing t-this to us?

Trisha's soul rotated around us for once then with a loud laughter she started.

Trisha's soul-> Greedy she is! Every night Ratnavati comes to the Bhangarh palace to beautify herself with her valuable jewels.....Megha wished to posses those unique and antique royal jewels......she entered the Bhangarh fort as an attendant and secretly used to worship Ratnavati at her palace for pleasing her but it was vain.......she entered Woodworth palace as a maid to fulfill her motives....she killed your dad because he was the greatest sting in her path....she made you her fake husband for fame and for respect....she released Ratnavati's soul from its limitations, she thought by doing so, Bhangarh will be saved and she would be able to posses her jewels, those valuable treasures....she didn't expect Ratnavati to haunt the town....fool she is.....

She laughed then suddenly with a scary voice she continued. We got goosebumps....we were frozen in our places and were just listening to  her.

Trisha's soul-> But she has corrected it now......everyone's life is in danger...do it fast my children, save everyone......specially the sadhu.....you have very less time, one incorrect step and the loss of one life......straight from here and you will be at your destination.....remember a word, "LOVE".......I've to go.....long the incense burns long I stay......

She laughed and with a cool wind she vanished.......The temperature of the place was low till now but now it was normal......many of her sayings were beyond our understanding....it was strange, mysterious and confusing. After about a minute's silence I spoke up.

Zee-> S-so th-that is the re-ason why I-I found t-he eq-uipments of p-puja in Ra-tnavati's room.

Zen-> I-I couldn't u-understand one thing.....Megha c-corrected her fault?! H-how?!.....and w-what is in the w-word "LOVE"?!

Zee-> I-I don't know anything......Zen lets go.....we don't have time...."straight from here and you will be at your destination"....lets go straight Zen....

Zen nodded. Standing up, he put the diary in his pocket. And we started to go straight from there. As we were moving more and more ahead, the passage was becoming more and more small and dirty. We were now crawling. Zen was in front of me. It was becoming hard even to crawl. our hands and legs were cut. In between Zen was asking me whether I was fine or not.  At last we found a very faint light towards us....we went towards it. Zen first went out and helped me to get out.

Zen-> Are you fine Zee?!

Zee-> Yes I am.

We were now under the sky. It was dark all around and a fierce thunderstorm was going on.

Zen-> T-this is the Bhangarh f-fort.

Zee-> Modo ki Haveli!.......oh my god its the secret passage which Edward said he doesn't know where it opens to...

Zen-> So it opens to my palace.

Zee-> Zen....the night stay!

Zen-> But its a fierce storm Zee.

Zee-> Zen.....I've to do it to save Bhangarh.....we don't have time to waste...one wrong step and-

Zen-> Okay okay....I understood....you are talking like my mom now.

Zen giggled and I joined joined him.

Zee-> Now let's go...and bring the permission letter with Kath....she must be in Edward's house.
