Chapter Seven: Night 4

Around 11:30 PM, Steven gets ready to head down to the pizzeria

"Your shift will be starting soon. It would be best if you got to the Pizzeria," says Pearl from the bottom of the stairs

"You're right! I was just getting ready to leave," Steven says, running down the stairs. He hugs Pearl and leaves.

"Good luck Steven!" Pearl yells out to him as he walks away.

"I hope I can find Connie," Steven says as he walks down to the Pizzeria for his night shift with Mike.

When Steven arrives at the Pizzeria, he walks inside and goes to the office. Mike walks in behind him.

"Hey Steven," Mike says as he sits down in his chair.

"Hi Mike," Steven says with a sigh.

The clock chimes.

"Ahh, another shift," Mike chuckles.

After a while, Steven stands up, "Mike, I have to go. I have to try to find her."

"What?" Mike looks at Steven like he's nuts.

Steven doesn't say anything and goes to walk out the door of the office.

Mike closes the door on Steven. "Kid, what the heck are you doing?!"

"I need to go find my friend." Steven looks up at him angrily.

"Steven, she's dead. She's not out there," Mike says with a frown.

"No, she is out there. I saw it." Steven barks.

"There's no way you'll survive out there," Mike says.

"I have my ways," Steven says as he opens the door and walks out.

Mike's eyes go wide, and he just stares at the camera system.

Steven walks out into the eating area and goes over to Pirate's Cove. Steven climbs up onto the stage and reaches for the curtain.

Mike yells from the office, "Steven, you're crazy!"

Steven opens the curtain revealing Foxy. He shivers and reaches for the curtain.

Foxy activates and looks towards Steven. "Yarrrrrr-"

Steven shrieks and moves the curtain to reveal the handle. He forgot about the padlock.

"Oh, right, it's locked," Steven says with a sad expression. "I wonder if Mike has a key for this?"

Suddenly from behind, Steven Freddy begins laughing.

Steven spins around to see Freddy climbing off of the Stage and walking towards him.

Steven screams and runs towards the hallway.

Bonnie appears in the first hallway, and Steven continues running toward the second.

Pots and pans begin banging around in the kitchen, which means Chica was probably in there, and the hallway was safe.

Steven hops up, floats down in front of the door to the security office, and runs inside.

Mike is staring at him. "What was that? You flew!"

"Oh yeah," Steven says. "You must not be from Beach City, huh?"

"No. I just moved here recently to work here at the pizzeria. Mike explains.

"Oh. Well, basically, I am what's called a Crystal Gem." Steven replies.

"Oh yeah, I  think I've heard of you guys!" Mike says excitedly. "Granite, Azurite, and Peridot, right?"
