The slytherin girl

The beginning of everything

All her life she was listening to stories about Hogwarts. How this changed everybody's life, how they found their best friends here. So naturally Sophia couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts.
Now she was on the train. She thought about the houses. Honestly she had no idea where she would end up but she thought she had a pretty good chance for slytherin since a lot of her family members were there. Luckily not all of them.
She was actually a little disappointed. She thought she would already meet some people on the train and make friends but she was alone. She pushed the negative thoughts away and smiled. She was going to Hogwarts. That's a good reason for smiling.
The sorting ceremony actually went by pretty quick. Draco Malfoy was sorted into slytherin of course. Sophia knew who he was as his family was powerful like hers. Soon it was her turn. The hat was deciding between Ravenclaw and Slytherin until..
"SLYTHERIN!!" She went to their table and sat next to Malfoy. After her it was the Harry Potter who ended up in Gryffindor. She heard that slytherins and griffindors didn't get along pretty well. She didn't really care. She chose her friends because of who they are and not because of their reputation, house or money.
After they were showed their common room and bedroom Sophia couldn't help but be impressed. Their common room was really beautiful. A little bit mysterious but beautiful. She also slept well as they were under the lake and she always felt calm around the water. In the morning when she got dressed she proudly looked at her slytherin scarf.
She already felt this was really her home.
"Hey..you are Morton right?" She heard a voice behind her. She stopped looking at her scarf and turned around.
"Yeah. And you are?" The girl smiled.
"Jade Holliston." She had black hair and was also first year.
"Nice to meet you. And I actually mean it since you are the first person who actually spoke to me." She laughed.
After that they went to their classes and soon they had potions. Boy was there some drama. Sophia felt sorry for the potter boy especially because Malfoy was rude to him and his friends.
At lunch other people talked to Sophia and she was really happy. They started to get along and she noticed they were actually nice, at least to other slytherins. She also talked to Draco and it was pretty nice. But she didn't make any actual friends other than Jade. She wasn't worried because she at least had one friend now and she was happy.
